  • Patent number: 11127887
Abstract: A semiconductor light emitting device (100;200;300;400,400B,400C;500;600;700) may have a reflective side coating (120;220;320;420;520;620;720) disposed on a sidewall (118;215;315;415,435;515) of a semiconductor light emitting device structure. Such a device may be fabricated by dicing a semiconductor structure to separate a semiconductor light emitting device structure and then forming a reflective side coating (120;220;320;420;520;620;720) on a sidewall (118;215;315;415,435;515) of the separated semiconductor light emitting device structure.

  • Patent number: 10555110
Abstract: A proximity location system and method thereof for locating a communications device. A radio-frequency identification (RFID) proximity location tag is arranged in a proximity of the communications device and detected thereby. A proximity location key included in the RFID proximity location tag is acquired by the communications device and forwarded to a location information server. The location information is queried for location information associated with the proximity location key. Based on the location information, data transmitted by the communications device is routed to the appropriate receiver of the data. The location information is also provided to the receiver.

  • Patent number: 8244674
Abstract: A system is provided for locating peers having a desired expertise. User profile information is stored in a profiles database. A search engine indexes the profiles database and appends appropriate profile tags to this information. A peer relevancy algorithm searches for candidate peers among the indexed user profile information. Weights are assigned to candidate peers based on different categories of the indexed user profile information, and peer matches are selected based on the assigned weights. In order to provide matches that are most likely to accept a connection request, data is maintained as to which potential peers have a history of accepting requests to connect and which have a history of refusing to connect. Potential matches are biased to favor those that have a tendency to accept connection requests. Contact information of requester and recipients are not disclosed until the recipient accepts the requester's connection request.
