  • Patent number: 10680910
Abstract: A standalone and virtual proactive services (vPAS) implementation is described. The vPAS is entirely self-contained, encrypted, and can be hosted within the customer's network. Furthermore, data collected by the vPAS can be analyzed without the data leaving the customer's firewall, thereby providing additional assurance to the network operator's data security and privacy. Moreover, the solution is developed based on an architecture that enables the platform to run in a variety of computing environments, including cloud-based environments. The vPAS system addresses data security and privacy concerns, enables different budgeting options, enables in-line predictive analysis, provides flexible delivery options, and increases the performance of preemptive services.

  • Patent number: 10178566
Abstract: A radio access network (RAN) cell site field test tool with a mobile application extension wherein a diagnostic function can be invoked automatically based on preconfigured event criteria or can be initiated remotely by a preregistered human or machine user. Example diagnostic functions may include the ability to test one or all the following functional/structural subsystems of a RAN cell site infrastructure comprising: fronthaul components, backhaul components, baseband components, GPS/location components, transceiver components, antenna components, enclosure/chassis components, internal monitoring components, cooling/AC and other ambient climate control components, environmental/regulatory compliance components, and power components.

  • Patent number: 6665291
Abstract: In a communications system comprising a public or other network (170), a wireless network (7), and an Internet Protocol based network (IP network) (100) configured as a transport mechanism between the public or other network (170) through a public network interface (160) and the wireless network (7) through a base station interface (140), a method of controlling signal traffic over multiple IP subnets, the method comprising the steps of gathering traffic data associated with the multiple IP subnets, and analyzing the traffic data to determine which of the multiple IP subnets provides the most appropriate connection for transmitting the data stream between the wireless network and the public or other network for achieving a desired amount of traffic distribution over the multiple IP subnets.
