  • Publication number: 20240066954
Abstract: A vehicle has a battery and an air conditioner heating a vehicle compartment. The vehicle travels by electric power of the battery. An operation mode in which heating of the vehicle compartment is performed includes an outside-air-heat absorption mode in which the vehicle compartment is heated by absorbing heat from outside air without absorbing heat from the battery, and a battery-heat absorption mode in which the vehicle compartment is heated by absorbing heat from at least the battery. The heating control method for the vehicle includes, after an operation of the air conditioner is started in a state where the battery-heat absorption mode is selected, switching from the battery-heat absorption mode to the outside-air-heat absorption mode, or reducing an amount of heat absorbed from the battery in the battery-heat absorption mode, based on a predetermined condition.

  • Publication number: 20210300326
Abstract: The disclosure provides a control device for a hybrid vehicle, which can prevent overcharging the battery and effectively utilize the power generated by an electric motor operating as a generator to avoid useless wasted power. The hybrid vehicle includes an engine, an electric motor, a battery, an engine rotational speed sensor, a battery temperature sensor, and a fuel cutting part that stops the operation of the engine according to a specified operating condition. In the state where the operation of the engine is stopped by the fuel cutting part, the control device operates the electric motor as a generator when the rotational speed of the engine is equal to or below a specified value and the battery is chargeable in terms of temperature, and drives a heater with the power generated by the electric motor operating as a generator when the battery is unchargeable in terms of remaining capacity.

  • Patent number: 9114699
Abstract: In a hybrid drive apparatus, a first planetary gear mechanism transmits rotation of a first main shaft to which the engine driving force is inputted to a main speed-changing part at an equal speed due to engagement of a first clutch, and transmits the rotation of the first main shaft to the main speed-changing part and a first motor/generator at an increased speed due to engagement of a second clutch. This enables the range of gear ratios of the transmission to be extended and the degree of freedom in setting a gear ratio or a step ratio to be increased, and enhances the power generation efficiency by rotating the first motor/generator at a high speed without using a special speed increase device.
