  • Patent number: 5932227
Abstract: A percutaneously administrable base composition which facilitates the percutaneous absorption of drugs and is remarkably reduced in the irritancy against the skin. The composition comprises 10-60 wt. % of lower alcohol, 10-50 wt. % of humectant, 10-70 wt. % of water, 0.1-15 wt. % of abirritant and 0.1-15 wt. % of absorption promoter. A drug composition is prepared by adding to the above composition various active ingredients such as antitussive, expectorant, skeletal muscle relaxant, antivertiginous drug, narcotic, drug for the circulatory system, and so forth.

  • Patent number: 5866157
Abstract: A matrix type patch formulation which comprises an adhesive layer containing a physiological active substance, an organic acid, a hydrophobic high molecular material, a tackifying resin, a plasticizer and an absorption enhancer, is disclosed. The adhesive layer preferably contains 0.1 to 20% (w/w) of the physiological active substance, 0.01 to 15% (w/w) of the organic acid, 15 to 60% (w/w) of the hydrophobic high molecular material, 10 to 70% (w/w) of the tackifying resin, 10 to 60% (w/w) of the plasticizer and 0.01 to 20% (w/w) of the absorption enhancer. The organic acid is preferably an aliphatic carboxylic acid, an aromatic carboxylic acid, an alkyl sulfonic acid, an alkyl sulfonic acid derivative, cholic acid derivative or a water-soluble inorganic salt thereof. The matrix type patch formulation of the present invention can increase the percutaneous absorbability of the physiological active substance and is extremely reduced in skin irritation.

  • Patent number: 5218753
Abstract: An assembling apparatus includes a mounting table on which a printed circuit board is supported by back-up pins held on a base plate. The mounting table is movable in an X direction and a mounting head for mounting electronic parts on the printed circuit board is movable in a Y direction. A back-up pin stocker is provided in the vicinity of the base plate, which stores spare back-up pins being not used. A replacing unit is provided attached to the mounting head to be movable between the base plate and the back-up pin stocker together with the mounting head so that the back-up pins held on the base plate can be replaced with the back-up pins stored in the back-up pin stocker on the basis of data representative of the type of a printed circuit board, etc. by the replacing unit when the printed circuit board to be assembled is changed.

  • Patent number: 4858308
Abstract: A parts mounting apparatus includes a rotary-index table having vacuum suction devices on a periphery thereof. A removable suction piece is attached to each of the vacuum suction devices so as to perform picking and placing operations of parts. A suction piece stocker is disposed across a detaching station and an attaching station. A detaching device is arranged at the detaching station, wherein the suction piece is come to be detached from the vacuum suction device and held by a stocker when the vacuum suction device is lowered and then raised. When the vacuum suction device which has lost the suction piece is lowered at the attaching station, a suction piece is attached to the vacuum suction device. When the vacuum suction device is raised in that state, the suction piece is pulled out from the stocker. Thus, exchanging of suction piece can be performed.
