    Abstract: A device and method for helping surgeons pass the sutures through the vagina into the abdominal cavity during an operation of laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH). The device utilizes two long plates having a pair of small holes on both ends. The plates are used to pass the thread into the abdominal cavity through the opening of the colpotomy at fornices of the vagina.
