  • Publication number: 20060004576
Abstract: When a third database element for acquiring a second content of a second server connected to a channel is registered in a first database, a registration and deletion unit refers to a device description to determine whether the second server requires a transfer-preparation request before the content is transferred. If the transfer-preparation request is required, the registration and deletion unit rewrites the URL of the content so as to trace the content via a relay unit. When a playback unit requires the second content, the relay unit serves as an intermediate for acquiring the second content while transmitting a transfer-preparation request and a transfer-completion request to a control unit of the second server in place of the playback unit.

  • Patent number: 6933981
Abstract: A camera is detachably attached to the central portion of the rear end of an apparatus main body of a personal computer and positioned between a pair of hinge portions. A lens is provided at the camera main body of the camera and this camera main body is rotatably arranged about the axis of the camera main body substantially coaxial with the rotation axis of a display unit. When the camera main body is detached from the apparatus main body, the camera is connected to the apparatus main body through an extension adapter and put at a remote position from the personal computer. A shutter button is provided at each of the camera main body and the apparatus main body.

  • Publication number: 20050027673
Abstract: A digital content management apparatus is capable of collectively displaying a list of content present on a network in an easy-to-use way. A content management server determines whether identical content is present when creating a display list of content managed by plural, different a audio video devices connected to the network. When identical content is present, the server creates a display list such that identical content is displayed according to designated conditions, such as in order of transmission speed of servers, based on a setting file.

  • Publication number: 20020024512
Abstract: A computer system comprises a computer body that is attachable to a user's body. A projection port is formed in the outer surface of a housing of the computer body. The housing contains therein a display element that projects an image outward from the housing through the projection port. The housing further contains therein a vibration detecting element for detecting vibration of the computer body, a discriminating element for determining whether or not the computer body is moving, in accordance with a vibration pattern detected by means of the vibration detecting element, and a main control element adapted to stop the image display by means of the display element when it is concluded by the discriminating element that the computer body is moving.

  • Patent number: 5428721
Abstract: Translation handles are set on vertices of a conversion source image frame by a mouse. Frame move processing, enlargement/reduction processing, rotation processing, and deforming processing are performed in accordance with the number and positions of the set translation handles. The image within the frame is operated in accordance with the shape of the conversion source image frame, and the operated image is displayed within the conversion destination image frame. In geometric conversion which requires enlargement/reduction and rotation and preserves parallelism of lines, image conversion is performed by one processing including addition instructions and not including multiplication and division calculations.
