  • Publication number: 20060089980
Abstract: Control data, such as a store-request, and video data are sent via different paths to video storage. More specifically, a load balancer sends the control data from a camera to the storage device, and the camera sends the video data to video storage. By separating the transmission paths of the control data and the video data, it is possible to vary the method for protecting the video storage, depending on the type of data, and to intensively check the control data which are smaller in data quantity, thereby realizing both a high security level and a cost reduction for protecting video storage.

  • Publication number: 20030233281
Abstract: According to the present invention, there are disclosed a contents distributing method and a system which permits distribution of contents held by the client to the other clients, irrespective of the operating status of the client, and allows certain billing. In this system, a plurality of storage servers storing contents held by the individual clients are arranged on a network. The client issues a contents distributing request to the corresponding storage server, and acquires the contents. The storage server inquires, when the requested contents are not held, the retrieving server, and collects the contents from the other servers holding the contents. • Publication number: 20030084140
Abstract: In a system having servers, clients and a load balancing node interconnected via a network, prior to transmitting a service execution request from a client to the node balancing node, a request for reserving server resources necessary for the service execution is transmitted to the load balancing node. The load balancing node manages the total amount of server resources presently reserved. The load balancing node selects the server having a room of assigning the requested server resources. When the service execution request is received from the client, the load balancing node transmits the request to the selected server.

  • Patent number: 5542293
Abstract: A pressure detecting apparatus for detecting vehicle tire air pressure. In a cylindrical housing mounted axially in parallel with a tire wheel, a setting magnet, a rotor magnet and a reversing magnet are coaxially provided and the rotor magnet is supported by a shaft rotatably and axially movably in response to a tire air pressure introduced to a bellows in the housing. When the air pressure is normal, the rotor magnet is attracted by the setting magnet. When the air pressure is reduced, the rotor magnet is separated by the movement of bellows, rotated by the repulsion force of the reversing magnet and finally attracted to said reversing magnet. By this operation, position of the magnetic poles of the rotor magnet is reversed and this reversion is detected electrically by a magnetism detecting unit.

  • Patent number: 4715663
Abstract: A brake oil pressure control device including a main line system for a normal braking operation, and a subline system for antiskid control and acceleration slip control. The main line system connects a master cylinder to a wheel cylinder, and has a first valve which opens the main line for a normal braking operation, and closes the main line when an antiskid control or acceleration slip control is in effect. The subline system has an oil pump connected to the wheel cylinder through a subline having a second valve, which is controlled to open and close the subline for the antiskid control or acceleration slip control. Inlet and outlet ports are connected by a relief pipe having a third valve and a relief valve. The relief valve opens the relief pipe under pressure from the master cylinder when a discharge pressure from the oil pump is higher than the pressure at the master cylinder, to restrain the discharge pressure from the oil pump.

  • Patent number: 4705492
Abstract: In an automotive infinite transmission, a rotation of an input pulley is transmitted to an output pulley through a belt in such a manner that a transmission ratio is continuously variable. Each of the input and output pulleys has a fixed pulley member fixedly mounted on a rotary shaft and a movable pulley member mounted on the rotary shaft for axial movement toward and away from the fixed pulley member. A tapered pulley surface of the fixed pulley member cooperates with a tapered pulley surface of the movable pulley member to define therebetween an annular groove having a generally V-shaped cross-section. A plurality of drive blocks are arranged between the pulley surfaces of the respective fixed and movable pulley members and circumferentially along the annular groove with the drive blocks being in sliding contact with the pulley surfaces. Provision is made between the drive blocks and the pulley surfaces in sliding contact therewith for reducing frictional forces.

  • Patent number: 4522177
Abstract: An internal combustion engine fuel injection system includes a temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the fuel or cooling water in the engine. When the detected temperature is higher than a given value, e.g., 50.degree. C., a pressure regulator for controlling the pressure of fuel supplied to a fuel injection valve is controlled so as to increase the fuel pressure irrespective of the intake pipe negative pressure and thereby increase the quantity of fuel supplied to the engine. In the case of an electronically controlled fuel injection control system, a predetermined correction quantity corresponding to the detected temperature from the temperature sensor is added to the basic fuel injection quantity calculated in accordance with given operating parameters of the engine, thereby increasing the quantity of fuel supplied to the engine.
