  • Patent number: 11911254
Abstract: A surgically implanted occluding assembly comprises an implant body having a longitudinally split generally ā€œCā€-shaped cross-section tube circumscribing an anatomical lumen. In one embodiment, the surgically implanted occluding assembly is a male continence device selectively occluding a urethra. In some embodiments an occluding magnet is rigidly affixed with the implant body, and an external selective occlusion control assembly is used to selectively activate the surgically implanted occluding assembly. The external assembly has a magnet, and body supporting the magnet. The external selective occlusion control assembly is configured to be selectively placed and retained adjacent to the surgically implanted occluding assembly.

  • Patent number: 8127600
Abstract: In a highway tractor trailer vehicle, a brake control sensor is operative to detect each activation of the manual trailer brake control, and a recorder receives and stores data comprising a speed of the tractor at each manual trailer brake control activation. Trailer brake wear is reduced by penalizing an operator of the tractor for each unauthorized activation of the manual trailer brake control. Testing of the connection of the tractor to the trailer is encouraged by tracking the activation of the manual trailer brake control and penalizing the operator for failure to test the connection.

  • Patent number: 7376709
Abstract: The present invention is a process of creating durable Uniform Resource Locator links to results of performing web-enabled functions. The web-enabled functions are performed using a system delivered user interface requiring users to authenticate within the system. After authentication, the user will be able to perform a first user function that will create Uniform Resource Locator link results derived from the first user function. The user will then be able to conduct successive users functions, either dependent or independent of the first user function results without having to re-authenticate. The successive user function will then create durable Uniform Resource Locator link results derived from the successive user function without altering the previously created Uniform Resource Locator links to previous user function results.
