Abstract: A method is described for providing efficient contribution allocation recommendations to contributors providing contributions to political candidates. The method includes: receiving, by a contribution allocation system, inputs from a contributor indicating the contributor's position with respect to a plurality of issues; quantitatively comparing the contributor's positions with respect to the plurality of issues to a plurality of candidates' positions with respect to the plurality of issues; assigning a score to each of a plurality of candidates based on their compatibility with respect to the compared issues and further based on election-related parameters; and providing a recommended contribution allocation for the contributor based on the scores assigned to the plurality of candidates.
