Publication number: 20100087706Abstract: The present invention discloses various methods and systems for positioning a guide wire between a patient's mouth and a skin site via an implant tract in a stomach. The method includes locating the desired tissue site in the stomach, such as with an endoscope or other suitable instrument. In some embodiments the desired tissue site is marked inside the stomach with a visible dye or light visible from the peritoneal cavity. An implant tract is created through the stomach wall at the desired tissue site, either from “inside-out” or “outside-in”. The implant tract may be made using a RF catheter, RF guide wire, an endoneedle, or other suitable instrument. The size of the implant tract depends on the device to be placed there, such as a stimulation lead. Diameter sizes of the tract may vary from 0.014? to 0.250?. An access hole or access port is created at a skin site, using a Verres needle, RF catheter, RF guide wire, an endoneedle, or other suitable instrument.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2009Publication date: April 8, 2010Applicant: IntraPace, Inc.Inventors: Baber Syed, Kurt Sparks, Ken Wong

Patent number: 7590791Abstract: There is disclosed a bus optimization technique. Pursuant to the bus optimization technique, the output buffer and output logic are removed from port units of a switch and are included with a control matrix in the switch. Data units received in a first port unit of a plurality of port units are provided to a control matrix. The control matrix evaluates when to send the data unit to a second port unit. No output decisions are made in the second port unit.Type: GrantFiled: August 21, 2008Date of Patent: September 15, 2009Assignee: Topside Research, LLCInventors: Heath Stewart, Chris Haywood, Michael De La Garrigue, Nadim Shaikli, Ken Wong, Bao Vuong, Thomas Reiner, Adam Rappoport

Publication number: 20090228568Abstract: There is disclosed apparatus and methods of multicasting in a shared address space. A shared memory address space may include two or more multicast portions. Each multicast portion may be associated with a respective end point and with at least one other multicast portion. Data units may be transmitted to at least some of the end points via memory-mapped I/O into the shared memory address space. When a destination address of a data unit is in a first multicast portion associated with a first end point, the data unit may be transmitted to the first end point, revised to specify a destination address in a second multicast portion associated with the first multicast portion, and transmitted to a second end point associated with the second multicast portion.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2009Publication date: September 10, 2009Inventors: Heath Stewart, Michael de la Garrigue, Chris Haywood, Thomas Reiner, Ken Wong

Publication number: 20060264856Abstract: A method and liquid-filled apparatus for male masturbation is disclosed. The method and apparatus incorporates an inner sheath (10) made from a pliable waterproof material that, when assembled within an outer containment vessel (12) by the application of a container sealing cap (14), forms a sealed chamber within the vessel (12) and outside the sheath (10) that can contain a warm liquid. The present method and apparatus creates an enhanced penile sensory experience by incorporating a fluid transmitting means by a predetermined number of holes (26) in the sheath (10) and a heat transferring means by the material from which the sheath (10) is constructed. By unscrewing the cap (14) from the vessel (12) and removing the sheath (10), an operator can conveniently clean the apparatus or reassemble the apparatus with other design variations of the sheath (10), vessel (12), and cap (12) made available to the operator to create a wide range of sensory experiences.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 18, 2005Publication date: November 23, 2006Inventor: Ken Wong
