Patent number: 11940227Abstract: A cooling system includes a heat exchanger having one or more rows of multiple flat tubes, louvered fins disposed between pairs of flat tubes, and special header tube connections to form a counter flow heat exchanger. Heat exchangers having multiple rows may be placed near or close to the server racks and may be in fluid communication with an outdoor heat exchanger having one or more rows. A single-phase fluid is pumped through a fluid circuit or loop, which includes the heat exchangers at the server racks and the outdoor heat exchanger. The single-phase fluid circuit including the heat exchangers at the IT racks may alternatively be in thermal communication with a water circuit that includes an outdoor fluid cooler. The flat tubes can be formed tubes with one or more channels, or extruded tubes with multiple channels. The heat exchangers include header tubes/connections, which facilitate easy fabrication and connection between rows and inlet/outlet, and lower the pressure drop.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2022Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: INERTECH IP LLCInventors: Ming Zhang, Ken Nguyen, Doron Shapiro, John Costakis

Publication number: 20230334369Abstract: Approaches, techniques, and mechanisms are disclosed for accessing AI services from one region to another region. An artificial intelligence (AI) service director is configured with mappings from domain names of AI cloud engines to IP addresses of edge nodes of an AI delivery edge network. The AI cloud engines are located in an AI source region. The AI delivery edge network is deployed in a non-AI-source region. An AI application, which accesses AI services using a domain name of an AI cloud engine in the AI cloud engines located in the AI source region, is redirected to an edge node in the edge nodes of the AI delivery edge network located in the non-AI-source region. The AI application is hosted in the non-AI-source region. The AI services is then provided, by way of the edge node located in the non-AI-source region, to the AI application.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 23, 2023Publication date: October 19, 2023Inventors: Zaide LIU, Ken ZHANG, Yue GUO

Publication number: 20080050462Abstract: Medical device balloons are formed from a tubular parison by a process or apparatus which establishes a controlled location (initiation zone) on the parison where radial expansion is initiated. Initiation within the initiation zone is achieved by heating the parison in that location to a higher temperature than the remainder of the parison for at least a portion of the blowing time. A variety of apparatus configurations are provided, some of which allow for the size and location of the initiation zone to be readily reconfigured. Balloons can also be modified, post-blowing, using heating apparatus and methods described.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 4, 2007Publication date: February 28, 2008Applicant: Boston Scientific Scimed, Inc.Inventors: Thomas Holman, Nam Hoang, Jeffrey Lindquist, Richard Dunn, Scott Schewe, Kevin Silberg, David Parsons, Ken Zhang, Afsar Ali
