  • Patent number: 11988804
Abstract: Discussed herein are devices, systems, and methods for rule-based weather impact assessment. A method can include receiving, by a user interface, a request for environmental condition impact data for specified equipment at a specified location, retrieving weather model data for the specified location, comparing the retrieved weather model data to user-defined rules associated with the specified equipment, and providing, by the user interface, a graphic depiction indicating whether the user-defined rule is satisfied in the specified location based on the comparison.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 12, 2021
Date of Patent: May 21, 2024
    Assignee: Raytheon Company
Inventors: Robert F. Cromp, Caleb N. Sherer, Kendall L. Hefley
  • Patent number: 11463407
Abstract: An industrial control system (ICS) communicates via ICS protocols. A model is deployed in an information technology (IT) and operation technology (OT) network. Security policies are dynamically updated as the particular IT and OT network are used, patched, and modified. A deep packet inspection is used to enforce ICS constraints and ICS behaviors defined by the initial model. A state of the deep packet inspection is reported for situational awareness and debugging purposes. An alert is transmitted when anomalies are detected when ICS protocol traffic traverses ICS firewall network paths that execute ICS policies.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 12, 2019
Date of Patent: October 4, 2022
    Assignee: Raytheon Company
Inventors: Kendall L. Hefley, Peter L. Stewart, Gregory A. Ladd
