  • Publication number: 20130336760
Abstract: A fan control method is to be implemented by a control circuit for controlling a fan coupled thereto. The fan control method includes configuring the control circuit to output a driving signal to the fan such that the fan rotates according to the driving signal, to detect a rotational speed of the fan and to generate a feedback signal corresponding to the rotational speed thus detected, to identify a model of the fan according to the feedback signal thus generated, and to control rotation of the fan according to the model thus identified.

  • Patent number: 8113500
Abstract: A duplex automatic document feeder includes first, second, third, and fourth paths, an ejecting path, a scanning module, first and second reversing roller units, a feeding tray, and an ejecting tray. A document is moved from the feeding tray to the scanning module for scanning of a first side surface thereof. Subsequently, the document is moved along a second-side scanning path defined by the first reversing roller unit, the third path, a portion of the first path, the fourth path, and the first reversing roller unit to allow for scanning of a second side surface thereof. After the first and second side surfaces are scanned, the document is moved along a document-inverting path defined by the second reversing roller unit, a portion of the fourth path, the ejecting path, a portion of the second path, the first reversing roller unit, and the ejecting tray.

  • Patent number: 7578504
Abstract: An automatic document feeder includes first, second, third, and fourth paths for guiding movement of a document. The document is fed through the first path and a scanning module so as to allow for scanning of a first side surface of the document. Thereafter, a switching gate is pivoted to a first position so as to allow the document to be moved from a front section of the second path onto a roller unit via the fourth path and a rear section of the third path. The rotational direction of the middle roller is changed in response to movement of the document onto the roller unit so as to allow the document to be moved onto the first path via the third path, thereby allowing for a subsequent scanning operation on a second side surface of the document. The automatic document feeder further includes a document-inverting path such that documents are automatically arranged according to paper number.

  • Patent number: 7573619
Abstract: A paper feeding mechanism for carrying a paper passing through a scanning station having a scanning module includes a partition, a paper transporting device, and a switching member movably disposed corresponding to one end of the partition. A first paper feeding channel is formed between the partition and the scanning station, and a second paper feeding channel is formed on another side of the partition. The paper transporting device carries the paper passing over the side of the partition through the first paper feeding channel with a first page of the paper facing the scanning module. Then, the paper is flipped for a second page of the paper facing the scanning module. The switching member can be selectively moved for guiding the paper passing through the first paper feeding channel or the second paper feeding channel.

  • Publication number: 20090190976
Abstract: An automatic document feeder includes a first path extending from a feeding tray to a scanning module, a second path extending from the scanning module to a reversing roller unit, and a third path extending from the reversing roller unit to an intermediate portion of the first path. A document is moved from the feeding tray onto the reversing roller unit via the first and second paths for a first scanning. Just before the document is moved through the second path, the reversing roller unit is driven to allow the document to move therethrough. Subsequently, the document is reversed on the reversing roller unit to move through a looped passage defined by the third path, a portion of the first path downstream of the intermediate portion, and the second path for a second scanning. The reversing roller unit is operable to allow two opposite edges of the document to move thereon in different directions.

  • Publication number: 20080123122
Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing device including a main body, a cover, and an object feeder. The main body has a space, where a first side of the space is a first opening of the main body, and a second side of the space is a second opening of the main body. The cover is movably coupled to the main body and is capable of moving straight. The object feeder is used for loading at least one object to be processed. When the object feeder is put into the space via the first opening and a portion of a surface of the object sticks out from the main body via the second opening, the cover moves straight to cover at least the portion of the surface.
