  • Patent number: 8047175
Abstract: A two-plane type crankshaft is provided. The weight of crank webs for the respective cylinders is divided between left and right half webs and balance ratios kL and kR of the half webs for the respective cylinders are set so as to be (kL?0.25)·(0.25?kR)?DR/DL to form a track of a vector of a primary inertial couple into a substantial circle. A primary balancer offsets the primary inertia couple.

  • Publication number: 20100164870
Abstract: Provided is a key sheet which has a soft touch feeling and in which elaborate and highly visible display portions can be provided. In a key sheet including: a translucent base sheet; and a soft-feel layer which is laminated on a front surface side of the base sheet, includes a plurality of display portions representing key types such as letters, numerals, and symbols, and has a soft touch feeling, the soft-feel layer includes a translucent skin layer having the soft touch feeling and decorative portions which are provided on a back surface of the skin layer and are visible through the skin layer. Further, light emitted from an inside of a device transmits through the base sheet so as to reach the decorative portions, and hence it is possible to obtain an illumination-type key sheet excellent in illumination property and of wider variety.

  • Publication number: 20080257296
Abstract: [PROBLEMS] To enhance freedom in designing an engine, improve acceleration feeling, provide extremely excellent driving feeling, and enable an engine to be more compact. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An in-line four-cylinder engine for a vehicle has a two-plane 90° crankshaft (3). The weight of a crank web for each cylinder is distributed to left and right web half bodies (21a,b-24a,b) to satisfy the expression of (KL?0.25)(0.25?KR)=DR/DL, where KL and KR are balance ratios of web half bodies of each cylinder (where KL?0.25, KR?0.25), and DL and DR are the distances from the center in the longitudinal direction of the crankshaft to each crank web half body. This causes the vector locus of first moment of inertia to be substantially a circle to cancel the first moment of inertia by a primary balancer (6).
