  • Publication number: 20150280541
Abstract: A solenoid device includes a plunger driven in an axial direction, a wall portion arranged to oppose the plunger in the axial direction, and a respiratory pore cover covering an opening of a respiratory pore of the wall portion. A volume variable chamber is defined between the plunger and the wall portion. The respiratory pore cover defines a communication space communicated to the respiratory pore, and an opening which causes the communication space to communicate with an exterior space. A volume of the communication space is larger than a predetermined volume of fluid that flows through the respiratory pore from or into the volume variable chamber by a predetermined movement of the plunger.

  • Patent number: 9146253
Abstract: An acceleration sensor and an angular velocity sensor are sealed in respective pressure atmospheres suitable therefor in the process of a series of bonding steps, thereby improving the detection sensibilities of the sensors. A movable member 111 of an acceleration sensor 11 and a vibrator 121 of an angular velocity sensor 12 are fabricated on the same sensor wafer 10 with a wall 16 interposed therebetween. A cap wafer 20 is formed in which gaps 21, 22 corresponding to the movable member 111 of the acceleration sensor 11 and the vibrator 121 of the angular velocity sensor 12 are provided. Bumps 23 are disposed near the gap 22 of the angular velocity sensor 12. The acceleration sensor 11 is sealed at atmospheric pressure. Then, the angular velocity sensor 12 is subjected to high temperature and a high-load and is vacuum-sealed. Thereafter, cutting with a diamond grindstone and mounting of circuit substrates and a wiring substrate are performed to form a combined sensor.

  • Patent number: 8839925
Abstract: In a fluid transmitting device with a lock-up clutch, each second transmitting claw is formed of: a base portion having a long side arranged in a peripheral direction of a turbine impeller and a short side arranged axially of the turbine impeller; and a claw portion protruding from an intermediate portion of one of long-side portions of the base portion and being inserted between adjacent damper springs, and each short-side portion of the base portion is fixed to the turbine impeller through a weld. A long-side portion of the base portion not welded to the turbine impeller includes a cutout, facilitating bend of the long-side portion when transmitting torque through the second transmitting claw, at opposite sides of the claw portion. This improves engine output performance by relaxing stress concentration at spots where the second claws are welded to a turbine impeller without increasing the thicknesses of the claws.

  • Patent number: 8797552
Abstract: A non-contact laser triangulation scanning apparatus for generating a three-dimensional image of the surface of an object based on the 3D surface position and surface contrast information. The apparatus comprises a laser source, a first optical unit, a second optical unit, a photosensitive positional detector having a plurality of sensor elements, and an incident light measurement device. According to generated timing signals having a predetermined time interval, a reset timing of the sensor elements of the photosensitive positional detector is controlled. The incident light measurement device measures an amount of a certifying laser light after one timing signal. An amount of a measurement laser light is determined dependent on the measured amount of the certifying laser light. The three-dimensional image is generated by combining position data derived from signals of the positional detector with contrast data derived at least from signals of the incident light measurement device.
