  • Publication number: 20090267424
Abstract: A stator includes an annular substrate, an outer-diameter portion of the substrate provided at a tip end of an outer-diameter leg of a bobbin, the substrate having a smaller inner diameter than an inner diameter of the stator core. When stator resin provides sealing, the outer-diameter portion of the substrate can be supported by the tip end of the outer-diameter leg of the bobbin, and an inner-diameter portion of the substrate can be supported by a mold. Accordingly, even when the moment of inertia of a molded motor is increased, the substrate can be prevented from being deformed by a molding pressure with the stator resin, without the area of the substrate being decreased.

  • Publication number: 20080261105
Abstract: A nickel hydrogen storage battery is provided which includes an electrode assembly formed by winding spirally a strip-like negative electrode (4) and a strip-like positive electrode with a separator interposed therebetween, the strip-like negative electrode (4) having a mixture layer containing a hydrogen storage alloy disposed on a core material. The electrode assembly is contained in a bottomed cylindrical container such that the negative electrode (4) forms the outermost peripheral portion. A portion corresponding to an outermost peripheral portion (5) of the negative electrode is a thin portion, and the thin portion is bent in advance in the winding direction of the electrode assembly to form an arc shape. In this manner, when the spirally wound electrode assembly is configured, the outermost peripheral portion of the negative electrode is prevented from peeling from the electrode assembly, and thus the insertability into the bottomed cylindrical container is improved.

  • Publication number: 20080131589
Abstract: To provide a method for forming an outer electrode capable of reducing a tact time when electrode paste is applied to end surfaces of electronic components a plurality of times. A paste tank 4 having a squeegee blade that is vertically slidable is disposed on a flat board 1 having an area being a plurality of times as large as that of a holding plate in a longitudinal direction of the flat board. A paste film is spread on the flat board by moving the flat board 1 by a length corresponding to the length of one holding plate while a predetermined gap is maintained between the squeegee blade and the flat board. The electrode paste is applied to first end surfaces of electronic components C held by the holding plate H by dipping the first end surfaces of the electronic components C in this paste film. The electrode paste is applied to the first end surfaces of the electronic components a plurality of times by repeating the spreading step and the applying step.

  • Patent number: 7119517
Abstract: A method features the steps of determining whether a secondary battery collected from a user is reusable when being handed over again to the user after being recharged, by performing a simple inspection on a site where the battery is received and returned to the user. The battery is transferred to another site for additional detailed inspection to further examine whether the battery is reusable when the determination is such that quality up to the specified capacity is not assured if the battery is given back for further usage to the user only after recharging it. The processes described in the above method can ensure the user that the battery has a reusable quality to the specified capacity, while the battery can be given back quickly.
