  • Publication number: 20080026795
Abstract: A base station apparatus notifies an operable method of a plurality of wireless parameter setting methods of a wireless terminal, and the operable method is switched depending on the operation state of each of the wireless parameter setting methods. Any of the wireless parameter setting methods is selected based on a request for a wireless parameter setting method from the wireless terminal and the operation state of each of the wireless parameter setting methods. Parameter setting method between the base station apparatus and the wireless terminal is performed according to the selected wireless parameter setting method.

  • Patent number: 7313383
Abstract: Communication control is made which satisfies the needs of both an owner or manager of a communication place and users of wireless communication terminals. As a user of a cellular phone passes through an automatic ticket gate and enters a predetermined area, The ticket gate and cellular phone check whether the cellular phone has an electronic ticket for entering the area. After this check, the automatic ticket gate requests the cellular phone to restrict the communication function. After the requested restriction is set by the cellular phone, entrance to the area is permitted and the gate is opened.

  • Publication number: 20070293666
Abstract: An optical filter of the present invention contains at least one tetra-acenaphthoporphyrin compound. The tetra-acenaphthoporphyrin compound has preferably its absorption maximum in a wavelength range of from 530 to 570 nm and a ratio of an absorption coefficient at 550 nm to an absorption coefficient at 525 nm of not less than 1.2. Also, a percentage of light transmittance at 550 nm to light transmittance at 525 nm is preferably not more than 85%. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide the optical filter which can eliminate an unnecessary light mainly existing in a wavelength of from 520 to 700 nm and is excellent in durability. A display unit using the optical filter of the present invention can improve contrast in a bright place, and improve color purity of luminescent color.

  • Publication number: 20070235285
Abstract: A footstep guide rail (3) (rail body 3a) is arranged so that a level H of a horizontal surface is set at the position obtained by adding a designated offset ? to a tangential line L of a drive sprocket (9) and the footstep guide rail (3) is provided, at its one end on an introductory side of the drive sprocket (9), with a curved part (13). At a reference position closest to the drive sprocket (9), the horizontal surface of the footstep guide rail (3) is changed to the curved part (13). • Patent number: 7267204
Abstract: In a disk brake of a vehicle, a caliper device which supports pads that can be pressed against a brake disk rotating with a wheel and which exerts a force to press the pads against the brake disk, is supported on a support member that supports an axle of the wheel. A recess that allows an entire thickness of the pad to be always visually identified from outside, is provided in a portion of a member that constitutes the caliper device, the portion covering the pad from outside. Thus, a degree of freedom in positioning of the caliper device is increased in checking a remaining amount of a pad.

  • Patent number: 7257540
Abstract: In a voice browser apparatus, an HTML document is obtained from a designated URL, the obtained document is analyzed based on a rule designated from a plurality of rules for defining voice input/output contents to fetch voice output contents, voice input candidates and designation information for designating a next object of processing corresponding to each voice input candidate, and the fetched voice output contents are voice-outputted. Then, the voice input from a user for this output is voice-recognized, and controls obtainment of a new document and next analysis based on designation information corresponding to the input candidate matching the recognition result. Thereby, contents for the graphical user interface can easily be browsed using voice input/output.

  • Patent number: 7251602
Abstract: To provide a browser apparatus with the contents of data provided on a network in a form of voice data, voice data indicating a part or the whole of the contents of the data provided on the network is formed and stored on a gateway, on the basis of the data. Data is formed by adding to the data provided on the network an identifier <VOICEOUT . . . > indicating a location where the voice data is stored. This data is provided to the browser apparatus. The browser apparatus receives the voice data from the location indicated by the identifier.

  • Publication number: 20070103724
Abstract: A job is selected from a job list, and is either copied or is extracted from a job storage unit. The job, or the copy, is transmitted to a designated destination. A transmission job or a printing job is stored in conjunction with a corresponding execution time in the job storage unit, so that a job can be selected from the job list and the execution time for the selected job can be changed. Further, the jobs stored in the print queue are displayed as a list, and a selected job is moved from the print queue to the job storage unit, so that the printing of the job in the print queue can be performed. In addition, the histories of jobs that were executed are displayed as a list, so that a specific job can be selected and re-executed. Furthermore, a process that is performed is managed for the user who instructed the process. When logout is instructed, management data are examined in order to determine whether there is an unprocessed job that was previously instructed by the user.

  • Patent number: 7203493
Abstract: A call in request is transmitted from a wireless base station to a wireless communication terminal apparatus when there is a call in from a service center. If the wireless communication terminal apparatus does not respond, the wireless base station is reset and, after the reset is completed, a call in request is transmitted to the wireless communication terminal apparatus again. In addition, if out of standby occurs, the wireless communication terminal apparatus notifies the wireless base station to that effect and the wireless base station changes a forward pattern of a notification signal.

  • Patent number: 7174299
Abstract: This invention has as its object to provide a speech recognition system to which a client and a device that provides a speech recognition process are connected, which provides a plurality of usable speech recognition means to the client, and which allows the client to explicitly switch and use the plurality of speech recognition means connected to the network. To achieve this object, a speech recognition system of this invention has speech input means for inputting speech at the client, designation means for designating one of the plurality of usable speech recognition means, and processing means for making the speech recognition means designated by the designation means recognize speech input from the speech input means.

  • Publication number: 20070007106
Abstract: A mountainous or valley-shaped curved part 13 is provided in a part of a footstep guide rail 3 for guiding a movement of footstep rollers 5 linked by a footstep chain 7, the part being positioned in the vicinity of a drive sprocket 9. Consequently, owing to meshing of the footstep rollers 5 with the drive sprocket 9, an unevenness in velocity of the footstep rollers 5 is absorbed by the curved part 13, so that a moving velocity of the footstep rollers 5 moving on the downstream of the curved part 13 is maintained constantly, suppressing vibrating of the footsteps 4.

  • Publication number: 20070002739
Abstract: If a program is to be transmitted/received by message transmission/reception using SOAP, the program description part goes out of the framework of XML, and the message contents contain an uninterpretable part. A SOAP message (M1) includes a data part (D1), a virtual service part (R1) indicating specifications to process the data part (D1), and a program part (P1). A server (S1) processes the data part (D1) by the specifications indicated by the virtual service part (R1) if the virtual service part (R1) in the SOAP message (M1) indicates the specification of processing to be executed by the instruction executed when executing the instruction contained in the program part (P1) of the SOAP message (M1).
