  • Patent number: 6909590
Abstract: A capacitor has electrodes at surfaces thereof, with one of the electrodes secured onto one surface of a grounding metal. Through conductors pass through the capacitor and the grounding metal and are connected to the other electrodes so as to achieve electrical continuity. An insulating case is provided at one surface of the grounding metal, with one end of the insulating case fitted around the external circumference of the raised portion of the grounding metal. Insulating resin fills a space inside the insulating case, the internal space of the grounding metal and a space around the capacitor. The insulating resin comprises an epoxy resin containing a brominated fire retardant, and the brominated fire retardant is a brominated aromatic glycidyl ether.

  • Patent number: 4881137
Abstract: A magnetic tape cassette is provided with a pivotal closure lid pivotably secured to both sides of a casing for movement between a closed position, in which the front opening of the casing, through which a magnetic tape is accessible for loading onto a rotary head, is covered, and an open position wherein the closure lid is pivoted away from said opening to expose the tape while the cassette is in use. The magnetic tape cassette is also provided with a sliding closure member slidably mounted on the bottom of the casing and cooperative with the aforementioned pivotal closure lid. The sliding closure member is in a closed position while the pivotal closure lid is in its closed position, in which it covers a bottom clearance through which a device constituting part of a tape holding system is inserted, and in an open position while the pivotal closure lid is in its open position to allow the aforementioned device of the tape handling system to reach into the casing through the bottom clearance.

  • Patent number: 4816953
Abstract: A tape cassette comprises a cassette housing having an upper section, a lower section, a pair of reel hubs rotatably accommodated therein for winding a magnetic tape therearound, and a front opening through which the tape is engageable with a recording and/or reproducing head. The lower section is formed with a pair of openings for respectively receiving reel shafts for rotating the hubs and thereby driving the tape, and the upper section is formed with a recess.

  • Patent number: 4572461
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cassette casing for a magnetic tape cassette, in which particularly when not in operation for recording and/or reproducing a signal, the cassette casing is tightly closed to protect a magnetic tape from being adhered with dusts and touching of fingers. The cassette casing is provided at its front portion with an openable and closable lid and at its lower surface with a slidable slider, whereby upon non-use, reel shaft insertion apertures, a front opening and a cut-out portion are closed by the front lid and the slider and this closed state is held by the cooperation of the front lid and the slider. Also, an elastic engaging piece member having at its tip end a protrusion is formed near the cut-out portion of the cassette casing and an engaging aperture which is engaged with this protrusion is formed through the slide, whereby the sliding movement of the slider is restricted by the engagement between the engaging piece member and the engaging aperture.
