  • Patent number: 8360505
Abstract: A door is open and held by engaging a latch with a striker of a vehicle body. The door has a release actuator connected to the latch. The vehicle body includes a power drive and a control module. An operating unit instructs the control module to close the door. The control module instructs the release actuator to disengage the latch from the striker. After the control module instructs the power drive to start closing of the door, releasing of the release actuator is stopped by the control module at a door position determined by actual voltage of a power source.

  • Patent number: 7941972
Abstract: A powered opening and closing system includes a door supported on a vehicle body, a motor, a drive mechanism for moving the door in opening and closing directions by virtue of power of the motor, an operation detecting sensor for detecting a handle operation when the door is operated to open or close, and a control circuit for prohibiting the operation of the drive mechanism when a predetermined operation prohibiting condition is detected. The drive mechanism brakes the movement of the door by putting the clutch in an engaged state while the motor is kept stopped. While the predetermined operation prohibiting condition is detected, the control circuit controls the clutch to be engaged while keeping the motor stopped when an opening of the door is detected, and controls the clutch to be disengaged when an operation of the handle is detected by the operation detection sensor.

  • Patent number: 5279788
Abstract: In the microwave oven of square waveguide type or coaxial tube type, the waveguide or inner conductor of the tube type is gradually declined from the inlet toward the outlet of the oven. A top slot is provided so that containers may be moved along the slot with their bottom portions being received in the oven and the contents heat sterilized. There is laid on a bottom surface of the oven a support rail for the bottoms of the containers, and this rail is gradually thickened from the inlet toward the outlet. More preferably, two or more such microwave ovens may be serially connected and the containers may be moved therethrough to heat sterilize medical fluids within each container in a stepwise manner.

  • Patent number: 5132504
Abstract: An irradiator furnace is connected to a square waveguide for propagation of microwaves and provided through a top wall with a slot. A conveyor bucket conveys sealed containers along the slot with lower portions of the sealed containers being inserted through the slot into the irradiator furnace. The irradiator furnace includes therein a rail which extends from a lower level of the furnace thereof at the inlet thereof to a higher level of the furnace at the outlet so as to support the sealed containers in a vertical direction. A hot air furnace is provided above the irradiator furnace. A narrow passage extending from the outlet of the irradiator furnace is directly followed by a thermostatic station utilizing an IR heater. So the sealed containers are sterilized.

  • Patent number: 5061443
Abstract: A rectangular waveguide is provided in communication with a microwave generator, and an irradiation furnace formed in its top wall with a slot is provided in communication with the rectangular waveguide. Ampules having only lower portions inserted through the slot into the irradiation furnace are transported by conveyor means along the slot. A depth of the irradiation furnace and/or a distance between the ampules and a surface of the slot may be adjusted to control sterilizing effect for medical fluid filling the ampule.
