Abstract: A frequency detector detects a system frequency from an AC voltage on an AC power line to which a power conditioner performing system interconnection of a distributed power supply is connected. A power converter is configured to inject lead reactive power or delay reactive power into the AC power line. A controller controls reactive power output from the power converter to output the lead reactive power in response to an increase in the system frequency while outputting the delay reactive power in response to a decrease in the system frequency.

Abstract: A shipping container includes: a bottom plate onto which cargo is to be placed, columns vertically extending from the bottom plate, and top plates detachably supported by the columns. Since the top plates are detachable from the columns, it is possible to smoothly load long objects into the shipping container from above the container, by removing the top plates in advance. When the loading is completed, the top plates are attached back to the columns again to reinforce the columns, thereby ensuring the strength of the shipping container as a whole. A plurality of these shipping containers can therefore be stacked one on another in a container ship, in the same manner as ordinary shipping containers.

Abstract: A color image recording apparatus for recording a color image uses a cathode-ray tube having a screen with an inner surface to be bombarded with an electron beam, which is coated in a striped manner with a first fluorescent material for emitting blue and green light and with a second fluorescent material for emitting red light, and its outer surface is provided with a blue filter and a green filter each opposed to a respective portion of the first fluorescent material, and with a red filter opposed to the second fluorescent material. Successive scanning lines are formed on a surface by relatively moving the position of the scanning line on the surface in a direction perpendicular to said scanning direction so that each scanning line is scanned by light from each of the colors.
