  • Patent number: 8122897
Abstract: There is here disclosed a resin pellet store device including a silo (1) in which resin pellets are stored; an discharge route for ON-SPEC products (2) through which resin pellets having a low content of foreign substances stored above the vicinity of the lowermost part in the silo (1) are discharged as ON-SPEC products from the silo (1); and another discharge route for OFF-SPEC products (3) through which resin pellets having a high content of foreign substances accumulated in the vicinity of the lowermost part in the silo (1) are discharged as OFF-SPEC products from the silo (1). In consequence, the resin pellets having a high content of foreign substances to be treated as the OFF-SPEC products are clearly sorted out in the silo and discharged therefrom to reduce the content of the foreign substances in the ON-SPEC products. Moreover, the OFF-SPEC products are discharged through another route to avoid the contamination of a downstream facility.

  • Publication number: 20050261414
Abstract: Provided are a polycarbonate resin composition which does not contain halogen and phosphorus as a flame retardant component and which is excellent in a fluidity while maintaining a flame resistance, a heat resistance and an impact resistance and a molded article thereof. The polycarbonate resin composition comprises (A) 60 to 97 mass % of an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition and 3 to 40 mass % of (B) an acrylonitrile-styrene base resin having a melt flow rate (MFR) of 5 or more at 200° C. and a load of 5 kg, wherein it is blended with 0 to 37 mass parts of (C) an impact resistance-improving agent, 0 to 3 mass parts of (D) an organic alkali metal salt and/or an organic alkali earth metal salt, 0 to 3 mass parts of (E) a functional group-containing silicone compound, 0 to 55 mass parts of (F) an inorganic filler and 0 to 2 mass parts of (G) a polyfluoroolefin resin each per total 100 mass parts of (A) and (B).

  • Patent number: 6407168
Abstract: Provided are a propylene resin composition comprising 100 parts byweight in total of two different types of propylene polymers each having specific properties, from 0 to 50 parts by weight of a specific elastomer, and from 0 to 50 parts by weight of an inorganic filler; and a method for producing it. The production method comprises melting and kneading two polymer groups each comprising one or more propylene polymers. The resin composition in which the viscosity difference between the propylene homopolymer segments to form the base polymer and the amorphous propylene segments to form the disperse phase is small is produced by first melting and kneading one polymer group, then immediately adding the other polymer group thereto, and further kneading and melting the two. For the composition in which the viscosity difference therebetween is large, the polymer groups are separately kneaded in melt, and the resulting melts are further kneaded.

  • Patent number: 4918872
Abstract: A surface grinding apparatus including a plurality of grinding wheel segments which are attached to a lapping platen directly or through an attachment plate so that the working surfaces of the segments form one plane, wherein the surface of a material to be ground is brought into sliding contact with the grinding wheel segments to grind the surface of the material. The grinding wheel segments are arranged so that a plurality of grooves are formed extending in a direction opposite to the advancing direction of the platen from the inner side of the platen toward the outer side thereof and communicate with the outer side of the platen.

  • Patent number: 4836917
Abstract: A solid-liquid separating apparatus for obtaining a liquid component, for example, from a used solid-liquid mixture for reuse of the same, which includes a filtering member having a hollow cylindrical shape made of a hard porous material such as porous ceramics, sintered metal, layered metal net, sintered resin, unwoven cloth, and the like. The hard porous material is provided with continuous air holes and a device is provided for reducing the pressure in the inner hollow space of the filtering member during the rotation thereof. A scraper is provided for scraping a solid component remaining on the filtering surface of the filtering member after the liquid component is sucked into the inner space of the filtering member. The separating apparatus further includes a cutter for effectively removing the solid component and a device which allows reuse of the mixture with solid particles evenly distributed therein.
