    Abstract: A vehicle power supply system includes a power source control device that executes a process of switching a connection state of a driving circuit to the main power source and an auxiliary power source including; a process of switching the connection state so as to transition to a backup state as a voltage decrease of the main power source occurs, and a process of switching the connection state so as to transition to a normal state as the voltage decrease of the main power source is resolved. After a voltage decrease of the main power source occurs, a turning-side control device of a steering control unit sets an output-limited state for a turning-side motor. The output-limited state is canceled upon the power source control device completing switching of the connection state so as to transition.

    Abstract: A bipolar battery is provided with improved productivity and reliability of bonding between a positive electrode and a substrate (bipolar plate) or a negative electrode and the substrate. The bipolar battery includes a bipolar electrode including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a substrate having a first surface on which the positive electrode is provided and a second surface on which the negative electrode is provided. A first adhesion layer is provided between the bipolar plate and the positive electrode and/or between the bipolar plate and the negative electrode. A second adhesion layer is provided at the outer periphery of the first adhesion layer of the positive electrode and/or the negative electrode on which the first adhesion layer is provided. The bipolar plate is formed from resin, the first adhesion layer is formed from an adhesion sheet, and the second adhesion layer is formed from an adhesive cured product.

To help mask the ambient light sensor window from view, the ambient light sensor window may be provided with a black coating that matches the appearance of surrounding masking layer material while allowing light to reach the ambient light sensor. The black coating may include multiple pigments and may have a flat spectrum to enhance color ambient light measurements made with the ambient light sensor. The black coating may include a polymer binder or other binder that contains multiple pigments. The pigments may include a black pigment, a blue pigment, and an infrared-light-transparent pigment and/or other pigments.
