    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate having a display area where a plurality of pixels are arranged, a second substrate opposed to the first substrate, a liquid crystal layer arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate, and spacers holding a gap between the first substrate and the second substrate. The spacers are arranged in the display area. The display area includes a first display area including a center of the display area and a second display area around the first display area. An arrangement density of the spacers in the first display area is smaller than an arrangement density of the spacers in the second display area.
