  • Publication number: 20090171545
Abstract: An exemplary control device includes an input torque detection unit that detects an input torque input to the input shaft; and a controller that: determines torque distribution of two of the friction engagement elements that form the shift speeds; and calculates a transmission torque of the two friction engagement elements based on the input torque and the torque distribution and sets the engagement pressure to obtain a torque capacity that can transmit the transmission torque, wherein the controller sets the engagement pressure such that slippage does not occur in the two friction engagement elements in a state where engagement of the two friction engagement elements forms the shift speeds and such that, even if an additional friction engagement element engages based on the line pressure while the two friction engagement elements are engaged, one of the three friction engagement elements is caused to slip.

  • Publication number: 20090143181
Abstract: In a condition of a vehicle which remains stationary or is about to stop and of a forward second speed having a clutch and a brake engaged, an N range is changed from a D range based on a shift lever operation and a forward range pressure is discharged from a manual shift valve. At this time, an orifice and a check ball are used to delay discharge of oil paths which communicate with a linear solenoid valve relative to discharge of an oil path a1 which communicates with a linear solenoid valve. Specifically, release of the brake is delayed relative to release of the clutch, so that a shift by way of a forward first speed through engagement of a one-way clutch can be prevented.

  • Publication number: 20070117678
Abstract: The fail-safe gear step switching valve (120) can be switched to the first position to establish the low-speed side fail-safe gear step (third speed-change gear step) or the second position to establish the high-speed side fail-safe gear step (fifth speed-change gear step). Upon the failure state of the solenoid valve device (SLC1, SLC2), the fail-safe gear step switching valve is held at the second position by the line hydraulic pressure (PL1). Two kinds of the fail-safe gear steps i.e., the third speed-change gear step and the fifth speed-change gear step can be established depending on the vehicle state just before the failure occurrence of the fail-safe gear step switching valve. Even if the D?N operation of the shift lever (72) is performed during the vehicle running in the fifth speed-change gear step, the fail-safe gear step switching valve remains at the second position to establish the fifth speed-change gear step even upon the shifting operation of the shift lever to the ā€œDā€ position again.

  • Patent number: 6973118
Abstract: A frequency interleaving circuit frequency-interleaves main signals generated according to sound data by parameters set according to frequencies of transmission channels. A sub-signal generating circuit generates sub-signals for transmission control including pilot signals. Mapping circuits modulate the sub-signals by using pseudo-random sequences generated based on initial values of random codes set according to frequencies of transmission channels. The frequency-interleaved main signals and the sub-signals modulated by the mapping circuits are OFDM-modulated. Then, they are converted to the frequencies of the transmission channels. An increase of a dynamic range of transmission signals can be suppressed by controlling the initial values of random codes set.
