  • Publication number: 20070125427
Abstract: The fuel cutoff valve has a connection conduit that connects the connection hole to the approximately round shaped cross section tube passage. With the connection conduit, the connection hole and the flow path area are almost the same, and this comprises a curved passage part that makes the rising gas flow from the connection hole face in the horizontal direction, and a connection passage part that leads the gas flow from the curved passage part to the connection passage part. The fluid guide member that constitutes the curved passage part is a passage that has an inclined face that makes the rising gas flow that flows out from the connection hole face in the horizontal direction, and a passage upper surface formed from a flat surface continuous from the upper edge of the inclined face and arranged above the connection hole. The connection passage part is formed such that the cross section shape of the passage upper surface gradually faces the round shaped cross section of the tube passage.

  • Patent number: 7171749
Abstract: A tube connector 10 of the invention is used for a fuel supply device to feed a supply of fuel to a fuel tank FT. The tube connector 10 is attached to the fuel tank FT and is connected with an inlet hose H, which is fastened by a clamp CP. The tube connector 10 has a connector main body 11 that is attached to the fuel tank FT to surround a tank opening FTa, a reinforcing tube 16 that has a flange 16a and is used to reinforce the connector main body 11, and a conduit formation member 18. The conduit formation member 18 has a fixation end 18b that is welded to a welding element 14f of the connector main body 11 to fix the flange 16b of the reinforcing tube 16. This structure of the tube connector 10 ensures secure and easy fixation of the reinforcing tube 16 to the connector main body 11.

  • Publication number: 20060108000
Abstract: The fuel cut off valve comprises a casing, a float that rises and falls with increases and decreases in the buoyant force depending on the fuel liquid level within a valve chamber, and a valve mechanism that opens and closes a connecting passage through the rising or falling of the float, equipped on the upper part of the float. The valve mechanism comprises a supported part, and when the supported part is supported by a support part of the float, the center of gravity is provided below the support portion, so that the supported part is balanced on a single support portion. The fuel cut off valve can provide excellent seal performance when a vehicle is at an angle, and that can be miniaturized.

  • Patent number: 7014214
Abstract: A resinous connector includes a flange-shaped base, a nipple, an O-ring, and an O-ring groove. The nipple extends from the base, and has an outer peripheral surface and sealing projections disposed on the outer peripheral surface. The sealing projections have a substantially triangle-shaped cross section whose diameter reduces in the direction away from the base. The O-ring is disposed between the nipple and a hose. The O-ring groove is formed at a root of the nipple in the outer peripheral surface, and is disposed at a position closer to the base than the sealing projection disposed in most proximity to the base. The resinous connector can inhibit the O-ring from being twisted or bruised by the hose.

  • Publication number: 20050257839
Abstract: A flow control valve includes a housing, a valve element, a valve-element urger, a first valve, and a second valve. The first valve closes the communication between inlet and outlet openings of the housing gradually when the valve-element urger moves the valve element away from the inlet opening. The second valve opens the communication between the inlet and outlet openings when the valve-element urger moves the valve element away from the inlet opening. The first valve is opened, and the second valve is closed when a differential pressure between a pressure of the fluid on an inlet-opening side and a pressure of the fluid on an outlet-opening side is a predetermined value or less. The second valve opens the communication between the inlet and outlet openings instantaneously when the differential pressure is more than a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 6411387
Abstract: When a material support is moved along with a stage, coordinates of the position of the material support are measured by a measuring device. Displacement of the material support in the Z-direction as caused by the movement of the stage is stored in the storage in association with coordinates of corresponding position of the material support. When the flatness measurement is performed on a material piece placed on the material support while the stage is moved, the amount of such displacement of the material support in the Z-direction that is indicated by the displacement data in the storage and corresponds to the current position of the material support at each measurement point, may be read out from the storage and used as correction amount for correcting the position of the material support in the Z-direction. In this manner, the flatness measurement may be performed with the correction thus effected.
