  • Patent number: 4777526
Abstract: A security monitor system is designed to transmit video signals from a plurality of video information sources via a common transmission line. Video information from respective video information sources is scanned at given timings to check the monitoring areas in a given order. An automatic recognition may be facilitated in the security monitor system for detecting substantial and noticable movement within a picture derived from the video information from each of the video signal sources. Therefore, the security monitor system is inexpensive and satisfactory for monitoring a plurality of monitoring areas and is satisfactory for recording video information of a variety of monitoring areas, when movement in the picture of one of the monitoring areas is detected, by means of a video tape recorder or other appropriate recording means.

  • Patent number: 4691378
Abstract: A tuner for a television receiver is designed for minimal size and to have a series of external terminals placed along one side thereof. An electronic tuning section including several local oscillator circuits is located within a common shielding case and a phase locked loop channel selection circuit is also located within the case in an isolated compartment thereof. The channel selection circuit and the local oscillator circuits all lie along a straight line parallel to and adjacent one end of the case.

  • Patent number: 4618838
Abstract: Impedance adjusting elements for a microstrip circuit of the kind employing a signal transmission line connected to an active circuit element and impedance matching elements, such as parallel-connected open-ended stubs, are formed of one or more wire elements arranged in proximity to the transmission line and the open-ended stub and connected at one end to the ground plane on the side of the substrate opposite the transmission line, wherein the free end of the wire elements can be freely moved, thereby adjusting the spacing of the wire elements from the respective signal path and open-ended stub and adjusting the angle of intersection of the wire elements and the respective signal path and open-ended stub, so that the effective impedances of the circuit can be controlled.
