Abstract: A method for fabricating a display device 1 includes a first step of attaching a display panel and a first substrate member to each other with a first adhesive sandwiched between the display panel and the first substrate member, and a second step of attaching a second substrate member to the first substrate member on a surface of the first substrate member opposite to the display panel with a second adhesive sandwiched between the first and second substrate members, where the second step is carried out subsequently to the first step. The second adhesive used in the second step has a glass transition point higher than a glass transition point of the first adhesive.

Abstract: Provided is a liquid crystal display device that enables satisfactory stereoscopic image display, free of crosstalk, even when using a liquid crystal panel provided with pixel areas including complex-shaped display sections. The liquid crystal display device of the present invention is a liquid crystal display device provided with a liquid crystal panel including a plurality of pixel areas and a parallax barrier that covers a panel surface of the liquid crystal panel, wherein each of the pixel areas includes a display section and a non-display section; the display section includes in at least part thereof a recess; the parallax barrier includes light-transmitting regions and light-blocking regions arrayed at equal distances; the light-blocking regions of the parallax barrier have projections aligned with recesses of the liquid crystal panel; and the width of the light-transmitting regions is reduced at regions at which the projections are formed.

Abstract: A PDA (portable terminal) including a display section for displaying information is provided with a first case (lid section) provided so as to be opened/closed with respect to the display section, a rotating mechanism for causing an opening angle between the display section and the first case to be changed, an opening angle detection section for detecting the opening angle, and a display control section (control unit) for changing the information displayed on the display section in accordance with the detection result from the opening angle detection section.
