    Abstract: A method for fabricating a display device 1 includes a first step of attaching a display panel and a first substrate member to each other with a first adhesive sandwiched between the display panel and the first substrate member, and a second step of attaching a second substrate member to the first substrate member on a surface of the first substrate member opposite to the display panel with a second adhesive sandwiched between the first and second substrate members, where the second step is carried out subsequently to the first step. The second adhesive used in the second step has a glass transition point higher than a glass transition point of the first adhesive.

The liquid crystal display device of the present invention is a liquid crystal display device provided with a liquid crystal panel including a plurality of pixel areas and a parallax barrier that covers a panel surface of the liquid crystal panel, wherein each of the pixel areas includes a display section and a non-display section; the display section includes in at least part thereof a recess; the parallax barrier includes light-transmitting regions and light-blocking regions arrayed at equal distances; the light-blocking regions of the parallax barrier have projections aligned with recesses of the liquid crystal panel; and the width of the light-transmitting regions is reduced at regions at which the projections are formed.
