  • Patent number: 7551449
Abstract: The flexible circuit board according to the present invention includes a plurality of mounting portions which are mounted with electronic circuits respectively, a connector portion that performs signal transmission between the electronic circuit mounted on each of the mounting portions and the electronic circuit device, and coupling portions that couple the respective mounting portions to the connector portion in different directions. The flexible circuit board is mounted on the electronic circuit device in a state of being folded at a predetermined part of one of the coupling portions.

  • Patent number: 7457107
Abstract: A foldable electronic device includes a first body having a display and a screen for protecting the display, and a second body having a plurality of operation keys. The first and second are rotatable to each other through a hinge. The first and second bodies have first and second surfaces facing each other when the electronic device is folded. The operation keys project by a height from the second surface, and the first body is formed a recess at the first surface, the recess having a depth equal to or greater than the height. The second body has a projection projecting from the second surface. The first body has an elastic piece through which the screen is mounted on the first body such that the screen moves in the recess in a depth-wise direction of the recess. The projection pushes the screen when the electronic device is folded, thereby the elastic piece being compressed, and the elastic piece pushes the screen back when the electronic device is unfolded.

  • Patent number: 7365794
Abstract: A camera module according to the invention comprises one flexible substrate, first and second camera units mounted on the same face of this flexible substrate, and bent parts so set in prescribed positions of the flexible substrate that the directions of the fields of view of the first and second camera units be reverse to each other. As these features can provide a configuration in which the directions of the fields of view of the two camera units are reverse (180 degrees) to each other, there is no need to provide an FPC, which is a printed circuit board for control use, for each camera but one common FPC can suffice, resulting in an advantage of simpler structure.
