  • Publication number: 20070120684
Abstract: Disclosed is a cable identifying system for accurately discriminating one cable from another on site over a long period of time, the system enabling a cable layer or a cable user, when laying out an RFID built-in cable, to do without manually writing any information in the RFID tags built in the cable. One cable having RFID tags built therein can be accurately realized. The individual ID's of the RFID tags are read and stored in a storage apparatus. When a part of the cable is cut, the ID's of the RFID tags nearest to the both end of the cable are read out, and the ID-related data of the RFID tags in the cut-out cable are recorded on a desired medium or electronic information medium.

  • Publication number: 20070102505
Abstract: When an RFID is attached to an object to assist testing operations, the following problems are encountered; (1) the RFID of write type tends to cause a failure and is troublesome due to the necessity of rewrite each time the situation is changed, (2) the incorporation of the reader function in a terminal block increases the cost, and (3) the known techniques are targeted for only the connecting operation and are not adapted for a sequence test that takes the most expense in time and effort. The operations are aided by using an RFID reader and a terminal having the function for accessing a database of circuit information, RFID information, and test procedure information.

  • Publication number: 20060287762
Abstract: An RFID installation position planning technology according to the present invention is used for outputting an optimum RFID installation position, which facilitates access to an RFID tag, before construction with work pieces. Work pieces layout data storage device stores work piece layout data including shape and disposition data of a work piece. A working route data storage device stores working route data including position data of works involving communication with the RFID tag. RFID tag position planning means determines communication accessibility to each point on a surface of the work piece from a work position, based on a distance between the work position and the RFID tag, presence or absence of an obstacle there between, and a communicatable distance of the RFID tag. Moreover, the RFID tag position planning means determines and outputs an optimum RFID tag installation position.

  • Publication number: 20060287831
Abstract: One of a plurality of data display formats with different units of correlation data that are prepared in advance is automatically selected depending on the variation of the amount of data in terms of the number of items thereof. One of a plurality of display methods with different summarization levels that are prepared in advance is also automatically selected for information (about correlation data or individual events) regarding individual cells. Information about the correlation data and individual cells is then displayed. The amount of work required to repeat the operation of observing the correlation data as a whole and the detailed observation of a small amount of data is reduced in a method for visualizing correlation data concerning two events in a matrix format.

  • Publication number: 20060235567
Abstract: A display apparatus for an injection molding machine which permits setting items unalterable during operation of the injection molding machine to be identified on the screen. When the injection molding machine is not in operation, the setting items on the screen are shown in a normal first display appearance. During operation of the machine, unalterable setting items, among the setting items on the screen, are shown in a second display appearance to be distinguished from the first display appearance. Since setting items that are normally alterable but should not be altered during operation of the injection molding machine are displayed in the second display appearance in a distinguishable manner, such setting items can be clearly identified, thus improving operability.

  • Patent number: 7051447
Abstract: Methods and systems for realizing accurate coordinate measurement using a multi-joint measuring arm. A system includes a support member, a multi-joint measuring arm having a first end attached to the support member and a second end at which a probe can be installed, and a processor configured to produce a three-dimensional coordinate corresponding to a position of the probe based on an angle of each joint of the measuring arm. A parameter concerning a posture of the measuring arm is detected exceeding a prescribed value, and a user is warned in accordance with a result of the detection. The prescribed value has been determined, for example, in accordance with a probability that a measurement error due to a user action pulling the measuring arm away from the support member becomes out of an allowable range.

  • Patent number: 7043704
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for verifying a design of a circuit board that has a wiring layer connecting components to be mounted, a power layer, and an insulating layer formed between the wiring layer and the power layer. According to this method, detection of chippings in the power layer is performed. The chipping is, for example, a gap, a slot, or a slit, and corresponds to one wiring layer and interrupts a region in which the wiring layer and the power layer are opposed to each other. When chippings are detected, a common-mode voltage expected to be caused owing to each of the chippings is computed. Subsequently, the position of the chipping and the value of the common-mode voltage caused owing to the chipping are outputted. Thus, the priorities of the chippings, to which countermeasure for suppressing radiation of electromagnetic waves should be applied, can easily be decided.
