  • Patent number: 9113791
Abstract: Measured blood pressure data is stored in a memory in association with information related to a measurement time. In response to manipulation of a manipulation portion (memory recall switch), blood pressure data associated with the measurement time within a prescribed time period (for example, 10 minutes) from the measurement time of reference blood pressure data, among the blood pressure data stored in the memory, is retrieved as specific data. Then, an average value is calculated based on the specific data, and the calculated average value is displayed as an evaluation index.

  • Patent number: 9002718
Abstract: When the present time of a clock circuit is a medication time recorded in advance in a SD card, a notice that the medication time has come is given by a voice output portion or the like. Presence/absence of a medicine package in each block of a medicine package case is sensed by a medicine package sensor. The time point and the presence/absence of the medicine package are recorded in the SD card. A notice corresponding to the presence/absence is output. At a time except for the medication time, taking-out of the case, opening/closing of the cover, taking-out and return of the medicine package are recorded in the SD card based on detection signals from the medicine package sensor, medicine package case sensor, and case cover opening/closing sensor. A notice corresponding to the sensed situation is output.

  • Patent number: 7959539
Abstract: A Nordic walking pole has a transmission device attached thereto and a switch thereof is pushed to transmit a signal indicating the start or end of Nordic walking. A pedometer receives the signal from the transmission device to thereby detect that the start or end of Nordic walking is instructed (S107). Assuming that the Nordic mode is specified when the current walking mode is a normal walking mode, the parameter for Nordic walking is set as a parameter for the arithmetic operation (S111). Assuming that the normal walking mode is specified when the current walking mode is a Nordic mode, the parameter for the normal walking mode is set as a parameter for the arithmetic operation (S113).

  • Patent number: 7722543
Abstract: A blood pressure monitor includes a cuff having an air bag, a main-unit casing in which an inflation/deflation mechanism for inflating/deflating the air bag is provided, a flexible air tube connecting the air bag and the inflation/deflation mechanism, and a retractor unit capable of drawing in the air tube that is drawn out from the main-unit casing into an air tube housing provided in the main-unit casing. With this structure, the blood pressure monitor can be made superior in housing of the air tube connecting the cuff and the main-unit casing.

  • Patent number: 7364548
Abstract: A blood pressure measurement unit measures the blood pressure and a CPU accordingly stores, in a blood pressure storage unit, measurement data as well as time information regarding the time at which the blood pressure is measured. The CPU calculates, as representative measurement data, the average of a plurality of measurement data stored in the blood pressure storage unit and correlated with the time information indicating a time in the range between nine weeks ago and ten weeks ago, correlates the representative measurement data with time information representing the corresponding week and stores the data with the time information in the blood pressure storage unit. At this time, the CPU deletes from the blood pressure storage unit those measurement data based on which the representative measurement data is calculated.

  • Publication number: 20080033309
Abstract: A blood pressure measurement device includes a fixed main body unit and a removable display unit. The main body unit includes a cuff mounted on a region for measurement of a living body, a control unit including a CPU for measuring a blood pressure with adjusting a pressure of the cuff, and a main body operation unit operated by a subject to externally provide instructions for a measurement operation of the control unit. The display unit includes a display memory storing data of the measurement with the control unit, a display portion displaying measurement data in the display memory, and a display operation unit operated by a subject to externally provide instructions for a display operation of the display portion. A measurement result stored in the display memory of the removable display unit can be displayed on the display portion by operating the display operation unit when the display unit is removed from the main body unit.

  • Publication number: 20070118037
Abstract: In an electronic blood pressure monitor, an input of measurement condition specifying information for specifying a measurement condition at blood pressure measurement among a plurality of measurement conditions, such as an input of time information, is received. Based on the received measurement condition specifying information, at least one measurement condition of a patient at blood pressure measurement is determined. A calculated blood pressure value is recorded by being associated with the measurement condition determined as such.

  • Publication number: 20070100242
Abstract: A plurality of pieces of measurement result data measured in a prescribed period is retrieved from blood pressure data stored in a memory. A CPU determines whether at least a plurality of prescribed number of pieces of blood pressure data corresponding to each of the plurality of measurement conditions are present in the retrieved plurality of pieces of blood pressure data. When the CPU determines that at least the plurality of prescribed number of pieces of blood pressure data are present, it calculates an average value of a blood pressure data group that includes the at least the plurality of prescribed number of pieces of blood pressure data, for each of the measurement conditions. The CPU then calculates a correlated evaluation quantity based on correlation of the average values respectively calculated for the measurement conditions.
