    Abstract: A process for forming a direct positive image by developing, after imagewise exposure to an internal latent image type light-sensitive silver halide photographic material, with a surface developer for silver halide, which process comprises incorporating at least one fogging agent selected from hydrazine compounds, N-substituted cycloammonium salts and benzimidazole derivatives in combination with an amineborane compound into said light-sensitive silver halide photographic material, said surface developer and/or a treating bath used prior to the treatment by said surface developer.
