  • Publication number: 20020154575
Abstract: When a stem switch (8) is pulled out, a switch signal forming unit 9 outputs a signal (RS) indicating that effect, a control unit (13) receives the signal (RS) and starts clocking by a timer (13a). The control unit (13) receives a signal (HS) output from an electricity-generation detecting unit (12) within the clocking period, detects the electricity generating operation of an electricity generating unit (10), and outputs a signal (CS) indicating that effect. A narrow pulse forming unit (7) forms a narrow pulse having a width of such a degree that the motor (5) is not driven based on the signal (CS), and outputs the narrow pulse to a motor driving circuit (4). The motor driving circuit (4) flows a fine current through a coil (4a) which drives the motor (5) based on the narrow pulse. An external device detects a variation of the narrow pulse, thereby confirming whether electricity is generated.

  • Patent number: 6459657
Abstract: A time information repeating installation in a radio clock system, which receives advance notice information, distinguishes advance notice content by detecting means 9, sets a transmission start time by addition setting means 10 in accordance with the content, sets an additional period by change period setting means 11, and stores the content into transmission start time storage means 12. When the stored time agrees with the time of a main counter 8, transmission starts. Therefore, even when a sudden time change occurs, the repeating installation can perform transmission at the reception timing of a subsidiary device. The subsidiary device can effectively update time data for summer or daylight savings time.

  • Patent number: 6002652
Abstract: Heretofore, in an electronic clock in which a hand is moved a plurality of divisional times per minute and the hand takes one step for each one minute during a correction, when a pointer is stopped at a point other than an exact minute due to a battery replacement or the like, a time correction has been troublesome. The present invention solves the problem and provides a pointer-type electronic clock which can easily perform the time correction even if the clock is arranged so that a minute hand may be moved a plurality of times per minute. The pointer-type electronic clock has a minute hand that is moved at a plurality of divisional steps per minute in a time display state. The minute hand is moved at one step per minute in a correction state. The pointer-type electronic clock comprises minute hand position adjusting means for allowing the minute hand to be moved onto any one of each minute scale and to be then stopped when the minute hand is stopped or time is corrected.

  • Patent number: 5963073
Abstract: The invention is directed to the realization of a .pi./2 phase shifter that provides accurate operation and moreover enables a reduction in current consumption. Such a .pi./2 phase shifter is constructed from a 1/2-frequency divider employing a T flip-flop and includes: a current source circuit which supplies to the T flip-flop a circuit current that determines the output frequency of the T flip-flop and which varies circuit current value according to control signals; and a frequency comparator that compares the output frequency of the T flip-flop and the local signal input frequency, and, based on the comparison results, varies the control signals in a direction such that the output frequency of the T flip-flop matches the local signal input frequency.

  • Patent number: 5914623
Abstract: A 90.degree.-phase shifter which operates in condition both of high-speed and low dissipation power, and an output signal with precise 90.degree.-phase difference is capable of taking off is provided. It causes input signals with complementary relation each other to input toward input terminals. A 1/2 frequency divider is composed of bi-differential transistors Tr5 to Tr12, and load resistances R1 to R4. The 1/2 frequency divider outputs a 90.degree.-phase difference signal to output terminals 11 to 14 based on collector current of signal input transistors Tr1 and Tr2. The collector current corresponds to the input signal. A duty ratio monitoring load 2 converts these collector currents into voltage. A low-pass filter 3 takes off a DC component corresponding to an offset from 50%-duty ratio of an input voltage from the converted voltage. A DC component amplifier amplifies the DC component thus performing feedback to the input terminals 8 and 9.
