Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a polyethylene for injection molding, which has an excellent balance between moldability and durability, and a molded article such as an injection-molded plastic fuel tank that has an excellent balance among injection moldability, durability, and impact resistance. The invention relates to a polyethylene for injection molding, the polyethylene comprising at least two types of specific polyethylenes, wherein the density, the high load melt flow rate, and the relationship between the weight ratio and the density of the polyethylene satisfy specific characteristics.

Abstract: The present invention provides a polyethylene, which has an excellent balance between rigidity and durability and is excellent in moldability and impact resistance, and a material useful as a material for hollow plastic products such as containers, bottles, tanks, especially fuel tanks for automobiles. The polyethylene of the invention is composed of one or two or more ethylene polymers selected from the group consisting of a homopolymer of ethylene and a copolymer of ethylene and an ?-olefin having 3 to 12 carbon atoms and satisfies specific requirements at the same time.
