    Abstract: A prefilled syringe comprising a syringe body of glass; a sealing member with a through-hole extending in the axial direction of said syringe body; a tip member including a top wall, a skirt portion extending therefrom and a tubular projection passing through said top wall, said tubular projection including an outwardly extending projection and an inwardly extending projection; a covering means for closing the outwardly extending projection of said tip member; and a holding member for holding said covering member along with said tip member in place on the mouth portion of said syringe body, said tip member being liquid-tightly fixed to the mouth portion of the syringe body by said holding member.

The solid preparations are generally housed in the guide member and/or needle and forced into the body subcutaneously through the needle.
