  • Patent number: 7156524
Abstract: A microcomputer performs image drawing processing of a projection video for adjustment by an OSD (On-Screen Display) circuit when it detects the press of an adjustment command key. The projection video for adjustment is an image having a black-and-white area high in contrast formed therein. The projection video for adjustment is picked up by a CCD line sensor in a sensor. A microcomputer has its input an image pick-up signal from the CCD line sensor, to make focusing adjustment and trapezoidal distortion correction on the basis of the image pick-up signal.

  • Patent number: 6664777
Abstract: Photometric apparatus and photometric method measure a wide range of incident light amounts accurately and efficiently. The photometric apparatus includes an optical sensor for delivering a photocurrent; an integrator capacitor for integrating the photocurrent to provide an integrated voltage; a voltage measurer measuring the integrated voltage; an integration time measure for measuring an integration time which the integrator capacitor integrates the photocurrent; for resetting the integrator capacitor whenever the voltage across the integrator capacitor exceeds a given voltage value; a summer summing a total voltage value integrated by the integrator capacitor during the given time including at least one reset; and a photometric calculator for calculating a photometric value based on the total voltage value and on the integration time.

  • Patent number: 6549874
Abstract: A distance measuring device is provided with regulating circuit for removing offset voltages. Before conducting distance measurement, the regulating circuit outputs a reference voltage on the basis of offset voltages of an amplifier and an integrating circuit used to amplify and integrated reflected light from an object. The regulating circuit comprises a D/A converter for outputting an analog voltage. A value representing the offset voltages is stored and, at the time of distance measurement, the reference voltage is set based on the stored value. The integrating circuit integrates two outputs of the amplifier based on near-side and far-side light receiving means, and uses a calculating device to find a distance to the object based on the integrated output voltages of the integrating circuit.
