  • Patent number: 7550678
Abstract: In a plasma display module, a flexible substrate is strengthened and a mounting structure for alleviating stresses is provided, thereby preventing the metal fatigue of wirings. In a PDP (Plasma Display Panel) module, a metal plate and a flexible substrate constituting a driver module are provided. On the flexible substrate, wirings not connected to electrodes of the panel (independent linear patterns) are disposed on an outer side of wirings and near an edge portion of the metal plate to which the flexible substrate is attached.

  • Publication number: 20080024394
Abstract: In an address driving system for driving address electrodes of a display panel, GND for VCC is newly provided between an address driving board and an address bus board to organize two systems of GNDs (for VCC and for VH). Furthermore, in the GND for VCC, an impedance is applied onto a GND line between a connection point of the GND for VCC mounted on the address bus board and a point at which the GNDs are unified together. This impedance is assumed to be larger than an impedance of a parasitic inductance at a connection point of the GND for VCC of a VCC power supply smoothing capacitor on an address driving board side.

  • Patent number: 7224329
Abstract: A PDP apparatus of low power consumption and without erroneous malfunctions is equipped with a sustaining circuit that prevents an on/off timing shift and deterioration of a sustaining pulse produced thereby. Phase adjusting circuits, which adjust the timing of the changing edge of the sustaining pulse, are provided for the sustaining circuit; the power recovery circuit is of improved efficiency; and power consumption is reduced by optimizing the timing of a changing edge of the sustaining pulse The circuit devices used in the sustaining circuits are classified according to delay times and sets of the circuit devices are selected so that the timing of a changing edge of the sustaining pulse falls within a predetermined allowance, and the selected sets of the circuit devices are set to the PDP.

  • Patent number: 5369572
Abstract: A method for processing a radiographic image, containing: a step for calculating an average S.sub.m of original image data of an averaging area around each pixel of the radiographic image; and a step for transforming the original image data S of each pixel of the radiographic image to obtain a processed image data Q of each pixel in accordance with an equation, Q=S+.function.(S-S.sub.m), where .function.(S-S.sub.m) has a characteristic in at least one of first and second ranges of the difference S-S.sub.m, the difference S-S.sub.m is positive in the first range and negative in the second range, and according to the above characteristic, the absolute value .vertline.Q-S.vertline. varies in accordance with an increasing monotonic function of the absolute value .vertline.S-S.sub.m .vertline. when the absolute value .vertline.S-S.sub.m .vertline. is less than a predetermined value, and the absolute value .vertline.Q-S.vertline. varies in accordance with a decreasing monotonic function of the absolute value .

  • Patent number: 5345513
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for processing an image corresponding to a radiographic pattern, the image being formed of a plurality of pixels each having a value corresponding to density. The method includes the steps of obtaining an image corresponding to a radiographic pattern so that values of pixels forming the image are stored in a memory; dividing the image into a plurality of image regions based on the values of the pixels forming the image, each image region including pixels each of which has a value falling within a predetermined range; and applying an image processing to the plurality of image regions of the image, processing conditions used for the plurality of image regions in the image processing differing from each other.

  • Patent number: 4866613
Abstract: An ultrasonic continuous wave blood flowmeter using Doppler effect analysis includes a filter having a cut-off frequency determined in part by a manually selected zero shift value. A tranducing device, in the flowmeter includes a transmission element and a reception element, the transmission element transducing an electric transmission signal into an ultrasonic signal to irradiate a living body and the reception element transducing a reflected ultrasonic signal into an electric reception signal. A detecting circuit is operatively connected to the transducing device for orthogonally detecting the electric reception signal and outputting a Doppler detection signal. A filter circuit is operatively connected to the detecting circuit for cutting high frequency components of the Doppler detection signal based on the cut-off frequency and outputting an analog signal.
