    Abstract: A selectable one-way clutch includes a first plate, a second plate, a claw, a selector plate and an interposition member. The claw is provided in the first plate. The claw projects from the first plate toward the second plate. The claw meshes with a recessed portion disposed in the second plate when the second plate rotates in a predetermined rotation direction and the claw projects from the first plate. The selector plate is placed so as to be adjacent to the first plate. The selector plate rotates relative to the first plate between a locked position at which the claw is projectable and a released position at which the claw is maintained. The interposition member is placed between the selector plate and the second plate. Rotation of the interposition member relative to the selector plate is restricted.

    Abstract: An AC-DC converter converts an alternating-current voltage, supplied from an external power supply, to a direct-current voltage higher than a peak voltage of the alternating-current voltage, and outputs the direct-current voltage to a first power supply line. In a normal control mode, a DC-DC converter steps down a voltage of the power supply line through on/off control over a switching element to charge a main battery. On the other hand, in an upper arm ON control mode, the DC-DC converter charge the main battery while the switching element is kept in an on state. On the basis of a state of external charging, a control device applies the upper arm ON control mode when a condition that upper arm ON control is applicable is satisfied, and applies the normal control mode when the condition is not satisfied.

The predetermined output lower-limit value is set to the predetermined start threshold value used when the required vehicle output becomes equal to or larger than the predetermined start threshold value.

    Abstract: A charging system includes a locking device locking a connector provided at the end of a cable in the state where the connector is connected to an inlet provided in a vehicle; a release button for releasing locking by the locking device; a switch generating a signal indicating that the connector and the inlet are connected; a horn; and an ECU. In response to the operation of the release button, the switch stops generation of the signal. The ECU controls charging of a power storage device and detects whether the signal is issued or not. In the case where the ECU detects that generation of the signal is stopped during charging of the power storage device, the ECU causes the horn to issue an alarm.

    Abstract: A vehicle includes a PCU controlling electric power supplied to a motor, a first power storage device, a second power storage device, an ECU, a charger, system main relays SMR1 to SMR4, SMRA, SMRB, and charging relays CR1 to CR4. The first power storage device is formed such that a first module and a second module which are separately disposed are connected in series through SMRA and SMRB. The first power storage device is connected to the PCU through SMR1 and SMR2. The second power storage device is connected to the PCU through SMR3 and SMR4. The charger has a capacitor that is connected to the first power storage device through CR1 and CR2 and also connected to the second power storage device through CR3 and CR4. When charging is completed, the ECU turns on CR1, CR2, SMR1, and SMR2, and turns off SMRA, SMRB, CR3, CR4, SMR3, and SMR4.
