  • Publication number: 20010012199
Abstract: A casing of an ECU is formed within an air cleaner of an intake module for an internal combustion engine. The casing faces an intake air passage, and formed in a pocket, so that the casing is easily formed and the water and dust proof performances thereof are improved. A printed-circuit board to which a metal plate is fixed is inserted into the casing along slits formed on an inner wall of the casing. The slits pinch the printed-circuit board and the metal plate at the rear end area thereof. Thus, anti-stress and anti-vibration performances of the printed-circuit board are improved. The metal plate including convexes and concaved contacting portions is easily formed by pressing an aluminum or steel plate. Thus, the metal plate is formed with low cost. Further, the metal plate appropriately includes holes, thereby promoting the heat radiation and reducing the weight thereof.

  • Patent number: 5631585
Abstract: A wave-shaping circuit comprises a dynamic hysteresis generating circuit for generating a dynamic hysteresis voltage having a certain crest value and whose signal level attenuates at a speed proportional to a number of engine revolutions to mask an ignition noise superimposed on an input signal, and a threshold generating circuit for generating a threshold voltage whose signal level increases/decreases in proportion to the number of engine revolutions to mask an interference noise superimposed on the input signal and to reliably detect a minimum level of the input signal. Either the dynamic hysteresis voltage or the threshold voltage, whichever is higher, is selectively output as a comparison reference signal through a high-level selecting circuit.

  • Patent number: 5470528
Abstract: A low decarburization spring steel consisting essentially of, in weight percentages, 0.40 to 0.75% C, 0.15 to 2.50% Si, 0.30 to 1.20% Mn, 0.005 to 0.100% Al and 0.005 to 0.100% Se, and optionally at least one selected from the group consisting of 0.50 to 2.50% Ni, 0.20 to 1.50% Cr, 0.05 to 1.50% Mo and/or at least one selected from the group consisting of 0.01 to 0.50% V and 0.01 to 0.50% Nb, the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities. The spring steels of this invention considerably reduce decarburization during hot working or heat treatment without recourse to anti-decarburizing agents or special heat treatment equipment.

  • Patent number: 4801697
Abstract: A compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R is .beta.-D-glucopyranosyl, .beta.-D-galactopyranosyl, 6'-O-acetyl-.beta.-D-glucopyranosy or 6'-O-acetyl-.beta.-D-galactopyranosyl, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, has bronchodilator, cardiac activity, smooth muscle relaxant activity and hormone excretion stimulant activity. It can be produced by culturing a microorganism belonging to the genus Nodulisporium and adapted to produce the compound in a culture medium, and isolating the produced compound from the cultured medium. The microorganism can be Nodulisporium sp. M5220 FERM P-8133. The compounds have inhibitory activity on cyclic-adenosine-3',5'-monophosphate phosphodiesterase.

  • Patent number: 4561152
Abstract: The present invention provides a draft roll arrangement in a spinning frame in which the apron bottom roll is longitudinally divided into two sections at a location along its length selected to be within a range for which torsion of the apron bottom roll does not pose a problem in spinning, and in which the respective bottom rolls are operatively connected to one another in such a manner that one of the ends of the back and front bottom rolls and one apron bottom roll section are connected to a driving source and the drive for the other apron bottom roll section is derived through the back and front bottom rolls. In a preferred embodiment, the respective apron bottom roll sections are associated with rotational angle sensors whose output rotational angle signals are supplied to a control unit. When the difference in the rotational angle has exceeded a preset value, an output signal indicating such state is issued from the control unit.
