  • Patent number: 6701727
Abstract: A management apparatus and a management method which can forecast inspection time before the lowering of performance or the occurrence of abnormality in a heat source unit for an air conditioner are provided. The operating condition of the air conditioner heat source unit is monitored by a central monitoring unit of the management apparatus connected to the heat source unit through an information communication network. Operating data of the heat source unit is analyzed so that the lowering of the performance and the advance of the degree of abnormality in the heat source unit are diagnosed. Thus, the loss of a user caused by the failure stop or the performance lowering of the heat source unit is reduced. Further, the load on the heat source unit is grasped by the central monitoring unit so that remote central control is carried out to make the operating cost minimal.

  • Patent number: 6263696
Abstract: In an absorption type chiller heater, a generator is heated in order to heat a refrigerant-mixed solution to generate refrigerant vapor. This heating is generally carried out by causing high-temperature combustion gas to flow in contact with heat transfer fins, which are provided on the periphery of the generator. The aforesaid burner uses a burner of liquid-fuel combustion structure to produce a longer flame as compared to that of a gas burner. The extremity of the lengthened flame coming into contact with the heat transfer fins can cause problems such that the fins are locally overheated to burn out. In this view, the present invention arranges a flame buffer plate between the liquid fuel burner and the heat transfer fins and provides a curved flame channel. This forms a curved flame, whereby the flame, despite of its great length, is kept from its extremity coming into contact with the heat transfer fins.

  • Patent number: 4655053
Abstract: An air-cooled absorption refrigeration system wherein refrigerant vapor is introduced into a vertical tube absorber at the top and bottom, or top, bottom and center thereof so as to allow the refrigerant vapor to flow into the absorber at different scattered positions whereby a sufficient flow passage area for the refrigerant vapor is smoothly secured and the refrigerant vapor is received by the absorber.

  • Patent number: 4398399
Abstract: In a hermetically circulating, absorption type refrigerator based on a closed circulation system of constituent members comprised of a successive communication of a regenerator, a condenser, an evaporator, an absorber and a heat exchanger, refrigeration being produced by repetitions of concentration, refrigerant dilution, and heat exchange of an aqueous concentrated lithium bromide solution sealed in the circulation system, a hydrogen gas generated in the refrigerator is continuously converted to water, condensed and removed or returned to the refrigerator as a refrigerant. The pressure increase in the refrigerator can be prevented, and a high refrigerating performance can be continuously maintained without any special maintenance.
