  • Patent number: 5485203
Abstract: An encoder decomposes an input color image signal into a luminance signal and color signals, places the color signals in image memories, then fetches color signals of a given screen before and after. A detector calculates differences between the color signals to detect color misregistration either on a pixel basis or a block basis. On the other hand, color signals of a last image acquired before occurrence of color misregistration are stored in frame memories. When color misregistration is detected, a corrector reads the color signals of the last image from the frame memories, and produces correction signals. A counter carries out counting for each difference between color signals of given screens before and after, then detects a distribution of color misregistration of a screen. A selector checks the distribution of color misregistration of a screen to identify the cause of color misregistration, then selectively outputs either the input color image signal or a correction signal sent from the corrector.

  • Patent number: 5339159
Abstract: (1) A color misregistration detector comprises a matrix circuit for inputting a color image signal acquired on a time-series basis and generating color difference signals R-Y and B-Y, differentiating circuits for differentiating the color difference signals and detecting the quantities of changes in the color difference signals, comparators for detecting quantities of changes exceeding set values among said quantities of changes in the color differences, a counter circuit for counting the number of points indicating large changes in color differences these comparators compare and detect, and a CPU for monitoring a time-series change in the count and identifies presence of color misregistration.(2) A color misregistration easing system includes a correcting means for synthesizing a raw color image signal and a color image signal of a last image without color misregistration or selecting either of the signals according to the result of the identification the CPU provides.

  • Patent number: 5305098
Abstract: A video signal generator produces a video signal which contains an endoscope image sensed by an image sensor and a character image comprising an ID code, etc. The video signal generator is connected to an image processing unit via a communication circuit, through which information indicating an arrangement for respective signal areas of the endoscope image and the character image contained in the video signal is transmitted. Based on the information received by the communication circuit, the image processing unit performs different processing for each image area of the endoscope image and the character image contained in the video signal.

  • Patent number: 5111306
Abstract: An endoscope image filing apparatus wherein endoscope image information and search information required to search this image information are recorded in the same medium by a recording apparatus, on the other hand, medium discriminating information is imparted to this medium by an imparting apparatus and the search information and medium discriminating information are memorized in a controlling apparatus so that, in case there are many recording media, when the search information is input into the controlling apparatus, the medium discriminating information of the medium in which the search information is recorded may be obtained.
