In response to receiving a first deep link from the operating system, the software object determines whether the corresponding app is installed and, if so, selects a first format and transmits the first deep link using the first format. A web redirection server listens for HTTP requests at the first domain and, in response to receiving an HTTP request, prepares and transmits a redirection message to a source of the HTTP request. The redirection message includes a plurality of access mechanisms associated with the designated state of the designated application. The redirection message includes software instructions configured to select and actuate one of the access mechanisms.

When providing a reception authorization code that enables each receiver terminal to receive the service information, terminal unique information such as a production number is stored in a user file at the provider's end, such as an FM broadcast station. Further, a processing circuit encodes reception authorization information showing an expiration date of a reception authorization period or contract contents after appending an error detection sign using the terminal unique information, which is notified to the user via mail of the like. Upon input of the notified reception authorization code through an input device, a processing circuit at the receiver terminal's end decodes the reception authorization code using the terminal unique information stored in its memory and corrects an error.

    Abstract: A receiver for FM Multiplex broadcast packet communications is provided that includes a block identifying code (BIC) detection circuit which determines whether a received packet is a data packet type or a parity packet type based on predetermined BIC patterns. The receiver further includes block counter circuitry that counts blocks in a synchronized frame and determines whether a received packet is a data type or a parity type (D/P) based on the count value. An abnormality detection circuit detects discrepancies between these two D/P determinations and indicates a synchronization abnormality. In another embodiment, the BIC detection circuit provides an indication of a received BIC type (BIC1-BIC4) based on predetermined BIC patterns while the block counter circuitry determines the BIC type based on the counted number of the block in a synchronized frame. In this case, the abnormality detection circuit detects discrepancies between the two BIC type determinations and indicates a synchronization abnormality.

The printer uses right and left reset signals to determine the print start position and printing direction of the print head, the right and left reset signals being fed alternately and regularly to the driving circuit for the print head for performing bidirectional printing, thereby assuring correct bidirectional printing. The right and left reset signals are constantly monitored.
