  • Patent number: 4998125
Abstract: A camera for taking a photograph, comprising; a distance measure for measuring a distance between the camera and an object to be taken the photograph, wherein the distance measure irradiate a first infrared light beam onto the object for obtaining the distance; a remote controller for controlling a photo-taking operation of the camera, in which the remote controller transmits plural second infrared light beams to the camera; in which the first infrared light beam is irradiated in-between the plural second infrared light beams transmitted to the camera.

  • Patent number: 4939531
Abstract: An automatic patrone loading camera includes a patrone chamber, a rotating shaft, a detector, and a control section. The patrone chamber houses a patrone. A film is inserted in the patrone in the winding shaft direction while the film is wound around the outer surface of the patrone. When the patrone is housed in the patrone chamber, the rotating shaft is engaged with a winding shaft of the patrone so as to rotate the winding shaft. The detector detects an extracted state of a leader portion of the film. The control section controls a rotating direction of the rotating shaft on the basis of a detection value from the detector.

  • Patent number: 4841323
Abstract: A camera provided with an automatic focusing apparatus having a lens-driving device (40) to move a photographing lens (50) in the direction of an optical axis to a focal position on the basis of a distance information from a distance-measuring device, a lens-positioning device (30) to determine a position of stoppage of the photographing lens (50) moved in the direction of the optical axis, and one motor (60) driving the two devices (40) and (30).An automatic focusing method of detecting a distance to an object by a distance-measuring device, moving the photographing lens (50) in the direction of an optical axis on the basis of the information on the distance, determining a position of stoppage of the photographing lens (50) at the same time substantially, and stopping the photographing lens (50) at this position.

  • Patent number: 4747669
Abstract: A camera comprising a lens unit which is slidable between two stoppers along an optical axis for varying a focal length thereof, a lens unit driving member having at least two sections which are connected to circumferential parts of the lens unit, means for providing the lens unit driving member with driving force, and a stroke absorbing member through which the driving force is transferred to the lens units, whereby the lens unit is capable of being resiliently pressed toward the stoppers when the means for providing driving force is overrunning.

  • Patent number: 4733261
Abstract: An automatic focusing camera having a driving mechanism for moving a taking lens on the basis of a signal provided by a distance measuring device. The lens position is controlling by a cam member capable of being turned stepwise in one direction about the optical axis of a taking lens by a pulse signal given by the distance measuring device. The driving mechanism has a light quantity controlling movable coil member and a taking lens driving and controlling movable coil member. Both the light quantity controlling movable coil member and the taking lens driving and controlling movable coil member are disposed within a gap and exposed to a common magnetic field.
