  • Publication number: 20110255320
Abstract: In an electric power converter for a vehicle which is connected to an alternating-current generator for a vehicle and performs synchronous rectification, switching mistakes are reduced and efficiency is improved by setting an optimal control allowance time in generating a switching timing signal from a diode ON signal. A control allowance according to the operating state of a generator can be determined by obtaining a control allowance time as a sum of a control delay time which is constant irrespective of the operating state of the generator, and an allowance time which varies depending on the operating state of the generator. Thereby, optimal switching timing is obtained and the reduction of switching mistakes and an improvement in efficiency are performed.

  • Patent number: 7973517
Abstract: The control device detects the B-terminal voltage by a B-terminal voltage detection section. When an abnormal voltage detection section detects that a voltage value of the detected B-terminal voltage is equal to or higher than a predetermined voltage value, all switching elements of the negative pole-side arm in a power conversion section are brought into conduction by a negative pole-side arm short-circuiting section, whereas all switching elements of a positive pole-side arm are interrupted. In addition, a field current is limited to zero or to a limit value by a field current control section.

  • Patent number: 7796818
Abstract: Execution commands corresponding to the type of gesture are stored and by acquiring coordinate values of accepted handwriting input including gesture on a display screen, handwriting is displayed. When handwriting input is accepted, display data of handwriting is updated. When handwriting input is not completed, it is decided whether or not handwriting input is gesture input. When it is decided that the handwriting input is gesture input, the type of gesture is decided on the basis of the coordinate values of gesture on the display screen, an execution command corresponding to the type of gesture is read and the fact that the handwriting input is gesture input is displayed. When gesture input is completed, the execution command corresponding to gesture input is executed. Therefore, the user can make handwriting input according to the user's intent without performing mode switching.
