  • Patent number: 7334378
Abstract: A packaging machine and a weighing apparatus low in equipment cost, small in installation space, and allowing a reduction in time required from the manufacture of packaged bodies to the completion of weighing to increase productivity. The stick packaged bodies are weighed by a weighing load cell in the housing of the stick packaging machine. Accordingly, the stick packaged bodies must not be fed to a weighing stage apart from the packaging machine by a belt conveyor. Therefore, the equipment cost can be reduced, and the installation space for the stick packaged bodies including peripheral equipment can also be reduced. In addition, the productivity can be increased since the time required for the stick packaged bodies to pass a weighing requirement to be formed in products is shortened.

  • Publication number: 20070199741
Abstract: Provided is a combinational weighing technique which can successfully improve a precision of a combinational weighing or a combinational counting of a weighed article. In a selecting step, since at least one large input weighing device is selected without any exception, therefore a target weight value is substantially reduced. This allows an equally dividing operation over the reduced target weight by two small input weighing devices to be performed. Consequently, the precision in the combinational weighing of corn flakes or the combinational counting of tablets can be improved.

  • Patent number: 7124556
Abstract: A device 10 for bagging dry ingredients, wherein a packaging mechanism 16 is integrally disposed under a weighing mechanism 13 for stored dry ingredients 12 and through a common frame 18. The weighing mechanism 13 comprises a plurality of juxtaposed dispensing pipes 22–25 for dispensing the dry ingredients 12 in a hopper 21, and weighing buckets 27–30 having an open/close dumper 26 for weighing the dispensed dry ingredients 12 and temporally storing them. The dry ingredients 12 in each of the weighing buckets 27–30 are discharged into a dispensing chute 31 through the open/close dumber 26 and are supplied at high speed to the packaging mechanism 16 immediately therebelow through the dispensing chute 31.
