Abstract: In a recording tape cassette having a recording tape and a pair of tape drawing openings defined at the front portion of the tape cassette by a top front wall, a bottom front wall, and a pair of generally vertical side walls so that the recording tape is drawn out from one of the tape drawing openings and taken in the tape cassette passed through another tape drawing opening, and a pair of inner vertical walls for guiding the recording tape in a vertical attitude the front edge of the top front wall is set back from the frontmost portion of the inner vertical walls.

Abstract: A tape cartridge of the type having a pocket for drawing out a recording tape from the cartridge for tape loading and a shutter slidably mounted on the bottom portion of the cartridge for opening and closing the bottom opening of the pocket, and a plurality of ribs extending in a frontward and backward direction on the inner face of the shutter so as to assure a smooth sliding movement of the shutter.

Abstract: Signal-recording/reproducing apparatus for use with a tape cassette includes a cylinder having mounted thereon heads for recording and reproducing a signal on and from a magnetic tape within the tape cassette, respectively. A pair of tape guides are movable between an unloading position remote from the cylinder and a loading position adjacent thereto. The tape is withdrawn out of the tape cassette by the tape guides when they are moved from the unloading position to the loading position. When the tape guides are in the loading position, an angular extent over which the tape is in contact with a non-rotatable guide element of one of the tape guides located at an exit side where the tapes leaves the cylinder is less than that over which the tape is in contact with a non-rotatable guide element of the other tape guide located at an approaching side where the tape approaches the cylinder.

Abstract: A recording tape cartridge which comprises a cartridge case and a lid member, having a front plate, rotatably mounted on the cartridge case so as to be rotatable between a closed position and an opened position. An opening is defined in the bottom portion of the front plate of the lid member for receiving a standard pin of a recording device and butting means projecting from the front end of the bottom wall of the cartridge case to protrude into the opening of the lid member up to a position substantially corresponding to one half the thickness of the front plate when the lid member is in the closed position.

Abstract: A recording tape cartridge which comprises a lid member mounted on a cartridge case to rotate between a closed position and an opened position, clearance means defined in one corner of the cartridge case and a lid locking means provided in the clearance means for locking the lid member in the closed position. The lateral width of the clearance means is wider in its front portion than that in its rear portion.

Abstract: A magnetic recording tape cartridge having a rotatable lid member on a front face of the cartridge such as a video tape cassette which comprises an engaging member projecting from the lid member to the interior of the cartridge case, a movable locking member detouchably engaged with the engaging member of the lid member to lock the lid member in a closed position and to release the engagement of the locking member from the engaging member, and a throughhole defined to allow passage of a lock releasing pin of a recording/reproducing apparatus.

Abstract: A magnetic recording tape cartridge having means for placing the cartridge in a standard position of a tape player by means of at least one standard pin provided in the tape player, said cartridge comprising a pair of through-holes defined in the bottom part of the cartridge case with a diameter fairly larger than the diameter of the standard pin and a positioning means comprising a movable member biassed to oppose the through-hole by means of a resilient member so that when the standard pin is inserted into the through-hole the standard pin is clamped by the movable member and the inner wall of the hole to secure the cartridge in the standard position.

Abstract: A cassette tape recorder including a fixed base plate formed therein with a capstan inserting hole, a pair of openings for reel spindles to extend therethrough, an opening for a recording and reproducing head and an erasing head to extend therethrough and an opening for a pinch roller to extend therethrough, and formed on its upper surface with cassette position regulating portions so that the upper surface serves as a cassette attaching surface. The fixed base plate has on its underside sliding movement guide portions for guiding sliding parts, fastening portions for parts to be fastened and mounting portions for mounting springs so that the underside of the fixed base plate serves as a working part mounting surface.

Abstract: A device or arrangement of parts for electrically loading a movable member so as to bias same in one direction. In this device, an elastic member is secured to a pivot provided on a base member, with its two arms being deflected and then held by first and second locking members, after which a movable member is forced down against the elastic member from above, so that a guide portion of the movable member may push one arm of the elastic member so as to keep the arm apart from the locking member which locks the arm, and then a locking portion continuous with the guide portion, of the movable member locks the arm. As a result, the movable member is elastically loaded so as to bias in one direction, while the movement of the movable member is limited by means of a control member provided on the base member.

Abstract: An apparatus for mounting or fitting a tension coil spring onto spring retaining members of an article, said apparatus being adapted to restrain said spring at its both hook ends so that it may be stretched as it is conveyed from a supplying position to a mounting position, and to relieve the spring at said mounting position to allow the spring to shrink so that the spring may be delivered to the retaining members to be retained thereat.
