  • Publication number: 20070074538
Abstract: A refrigeration cycle device includes a double tube for exchanging heat between a high-pressure refrigerant to be decompressed by a decompressor and a low-pressure refrigerant to be drawn by a compressor. The decompressor controls a dryness and a superheat degree of an outlet side refrigerant flowing from an outlet of the low-pressure side heat exchanger to the double tube in accordance with a temperature of the outlet side refrigerant or a suction side refrigerant flowing from the double tube to a suction port of the compressor. Thus, the dryness of the outlet side refrigerant is equal to or larger than 0.9 and the superheat degree of the outlet side refrigerant is equal to or lower than 5° C.

  • Patent number: 6001457
Abstract: According to the present invention, in a casing having a casing member made of resin and a porous elastic member affixed onto the casing member, there is formed a thick wall portion, which is thicker than the other portions, at a bending corner portion formed between wall surfaces of the casing member. In this way, when the resinous casing member is molded, the resin in a melted state flows along a surface at an opposite side of the elastic member (at a side of an affixing surface between the casing member and the insulator), in a space for forming the thick wall portion. Therefore, the resin in the melted state is prevented from flowing to press upward an end portion of the elastic member at the corner portion. Accordingly, the defective "reversing" is prevented so that the elastic member can be affixed on the wall surface of the casing member satisfactorily.

  • Patent number: 5853201
Abstract: A coolant pipe connecting coupling in which a coolant passage is bent perpendicularly around a connecting portion has a low height connecting coupling and can reduce manufacturing costs. The coolant pipe connecting coupling includes a fixing block fixed to a connecting object by a bolt and a coolant pipe supported while being inserted into the fixing block. The coolant pipe is bent with an approximately zero bending radius. While at least an inside surface of the bending portion of the bending portion is received by the fixing block, the fixing block and the coolant pipe are fixed together. Therefore, a dimension of a connecting surface of the fixing block and the coolant pipe, that is, the height of the coolant pipe connecting coupling is set to be small. A coolant passage bent perpendicularly is not formed inside the fixing block, but coolant flow is bent perpendicularly by bending of the coolant pipe. Thus, manufacturing cost of the coolant pipe connecting coupling can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 5647612
Abstract: An apparatus for fixing a male and female couplings which are fitted with each other. A fixing device includes a first and second fixing member of a substantially semicircular cylindrical shape. A hinge device is provided for rotating the first and second fixing members between an opened condition and a closed condition. At the closed condition, the first and second fixing members cooperate to form a recess of a shape corresponding to that of the fitted part of the couplings thereby axially holding the couplings. A releasable lock is constructed by a catch member on the first fixing members and a latch member on the second fixing member. The releasable lock allows the fixing members to be easily engaged and disengaged, thereby increasing productivity during the pipe fitting operation.

  • Patent number: 5625948
Abstract: According to the present invention, in the first process, a pipe end of a long pipe is bent with a radius of curvature which is larger than a minimum radius of curvature to form a large R portion. That is to say, bending with a large radius of curvature (R) is performed to form a large R portion in a region in which cracking or excessive reduction of plate thickness of the bend outer-side portion, or buckling of the bend inner-side portion does not occur. Subsequently, in the second process, the pipe is bent with a small radius of curvature form a small R portion by pressing a pipe-end portion of the pipe from a pipe-end direction while fixedly holding the bend side wall of the pipe. In this way, it is possible to obtain an R-minimum elbow configuration irrespective of magnitude of an amount of elongation of material and further without special equipment or mechanisms, by minor modification of present equipment.

  • Patent number: 5294156
Abstract: Aluminum pipes 63 and 65 are provided at the ends thereof with a flange unit 3 constructed by two separate flange sections 5 and 7 produced by injection moulding a plastic material selected from polypropylene, polyoximethylen, epoxy, polyester or nylon 66. As the plastic resin material, nylon 66 is most preferable. The flange sections 5 and 7 from semicircular grooves in which the pipes 63 and 65 are accommodated, and the sections 5 and 7 are moved toward each other to be brought into a face to face contact while projected portions 27 and 29 of the first section 5 are engaged with hook portions 59 and 61 of the second section 7. Then the sections 5 and 7 are connected to each other by a screw 7, to obtain an assembled state of the flange unit 3. With this flange assembly, a contact between different metal materials does not occur, and thus any corrosion of the pipes is substantially prevented.

  • Patent number: 5062275
Abstract: An automotive air conditioner using a mixed type coolant of a higher boiling point coolant and a lower boiling point coolant. The air conditioner employs a stacking container connecting to an upper portion of a receiver for introducing a gas phased coolant which contains much of the lower boiling point coolant via a first valve. The stacking container is also connected to a suction side of a compressor via a second valve. The air conditioner becomes a mixing mode when the first valve closes a conduit and the second valve opens a conduit for introducing the lower boiling point coolant into a refrigerant circuit. The cooling ability is increased during the mixing mode. The air conditioner becomes a separating mode when the first valve opens the conduit and the second valve closes the conduit for separating the lower boiling point coolant circulating in the refrigerant circuit and stacking the same in the container.
