  • Patent number: 9916908
Abstract: A gas supply apparatus of the present invention includes a gas discharge line of a first electromagnetic valve having s a switching valve placed therein, and a second electromagnetic valve placed between the switching valve and a gas supply source. The switching valve switches between a gas discharge from the first electromagnetic valve and a gas supply to the first electromagnetic valve. At the time of a normal operation, the second electromagnetic valve opens a gas discharge line side and closes a switching valve side, and when the power source is lost, the second electromagnetic valve opens the switching valve side and closes the gas discharge line side. In this way, even when the power source is lost, an operating valve can not only be operated remotely but also be operated safely by a remote operator.

  • Publication number: 20150117585
Abstract: A gas supply apparatus of the present invention includes: an operating valve that is placed in the middle of a piping for letting at least gas in a plant flow and that operates a valve main body by the gas flowing in the piping; a first electromagnetic valve that is placed in the middle of the piping and that opens or closes a flow of the gas to the operating valve; and a gas supply source that supplies the first electromagnetic valve with the gas. A gas discharge line of the first electromagnetic valve has a switching valve placed therein and has a second electromagnetic valve placed between the switching valve and the gas supply source. The switching valve switches between a gas discharge from the first electromagnetic valve and a gas supply to the first electromagnetic valve. When a power source is lost, the switching valve is switched to connection to the gas supply source so as to supply the first electromagnetic valve with the gas.

  • Publication number: 20140254738
Abstract: The present invention is directed to remote operation of an operation valve such as an air operated valve even at the time of power loss. A gas supply apparatus of the present invention includes: an operation valve mounted in some midpoint of a piping for passing at least gas in a plant and operating a valve body by the gas flowing in the piping; an solenoid valve mounted in some midpoint of the piping and allowing/stopping flow of the gas to the operation valve; and a gas supply source for supplying gas to the solenoid valve. A switching valve for switching between exhaust from the solenoid valve and gas supply to the solenoid valve is mounted in an exhaust line of the solenoid valve and, at the time of power loss, the switching valve is switched to connection to the gas supply source for supplying gas to the solenoid valve.

  • Patent number: 6224130
Abstract: A mechanism for mounting a seat belt of a center seating space of a vehicle seat which exhibits sufficient strength and reduces weight and production costs to the greatest degree is provided. Such a mechanism is provided by separating a seat into a right seating section and a left seating section at the center thereof such that each of the separated seating sections is independently slidable back and forth by means of a seat sliding rail formed of a pair of lower rails fixed to a floor side and a pair of upper rails fixed to the bottom of a seat. A base member bent at an intermediate bent portion defined by a belt mount plate portion and a rail mount connector portion is attached to a side surface of the inner upper rail at the rail connector plate portion such that the belt mount plate portion extends outward. An anchor for the seat belt of the center seating space of the seat is fixed to the top end of the belt mount plate portion of the base member.

  • Patent number: 5033886
Abstract: A printer for printing on a print medium. A type carrier is in the form of an endless belt having a plurality of type elements on a side face. A hammer mechanism urges the type elements in the print medium into contact. The hammer mechanism extends substantially parallel to a portion of the type carrier and includes a hammer member for each printable position of the printer. A print drum mechanism selectively drives the hammer mechanism. The print drum mechanism includes the print drum with a plurality of projections around the peripheral surface of the print drum. There are a like number of projections and hammer members. Each of the projections is adapted to drive a separate hammer member and rotation of the print drum results in the driving of the hammer members by the projections. A control mechanism coupled to the type carrier and the print drum mechanism selectively advances the endless belt relative to the hammer mechanism and rotates the print drum.

  • Patent number: 4452137
Abstract: A printer for printing a row of characters on a recording medium. The printer includes at least first and second type rings having types disposed on the periphery thereof which are rotatable from a reset position to a print position. First and second pawls are associated with the first and second type rings, respectively. A control member moves the first pawl into engagement with the first type ring when in its reset position to prevent rotation thereof. The second type ring is rotated into a print position while the first type ring is held in its reset position by the first pawl. A lever associated with the first and second pawls is actuated by an electromagnet to move the second pawl into engagement with the second type ring when in a print position to stop the rotation thereof. The control member releases the first pawl from the first type ring which then rotates to a print position.

  • Patent number: 4387643
Abstract: A small printer using character wheels is provided. The printer includes a plurality of character wheels frictionally mounted on a shaft for rotation therewith and having a ratchet wheel on side surface. Associated with each character wheel is a pivotable selector pawl actuatable by an electromagnet. The number of electromagnets is less than the number of selector pawls and character wheels. Stopper cams are actuatable into locking engagement with the ratchet wheels on even-numbered character wheels when the shaft begins to rotate. Only odd-numbered character wheels are caused to rotate with the shaft. The desired characters on the odd-numbered character wheels are selected when the electromagnets are energized selectively to move the selector pawls into locking engagement with the ratchets on the odd-numbered character wheels. During the next revolution of the shaft, the stoppers are retracted, that is, out of engagement with the ratchets on the even-numbered type wheels.
