    Abstract: There is provided a packaging material for a photographic light-sensitive material, the packaging material being formed from a resin composition that contains a compound having an unsaturated double bond or that contains a poly(conjugated diene) component, a metal ion that can promote a catalytic oxidation reaction of the unsaturated double bond and the poly(conjugated diene), and a chelating agent that can coordinate the metal ion in an amount sufficient to suppress the catalytic oxidation reaction. There is also provided a photographic light-sensitive material package formed by housing the photographic light-sensitive material in the packaging material for the photographic light-sensitive material.

    Abstract: A self-processing photographic film unit has a trap member using a nonwoven cloth in order to catch surplus processing solution. This nonwoven cloth is provided with a polymer having carboxyl groups, and a hardening agent for hardening the polymer in order to prevent leakage and change of color to a frame portion of an image forming plane. A nonwoven cloth according to another embodiment includes a fiber of duplex structure which comprises an external layer of a hydrophilic cross linkage polymer and an internal layer of an acrylonitrile type polymer. A further embodiment includes a nonwoven cloth having dimensions of individual gaps or density which are changed stepwise or continuously. This nonwoven cloth is stored in the trap section so that a portion having a small density or large individual gaps is disposed on the inlet side.

    Abstract: A heat developable light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive layer containing (1) an oxidation-reduction image-forming combination of (a) a silver salt oxidizing agent and (b) a reducing agent and (2) a catalytic amount of a light-sensitive silver halide or a compound capable of reacting with the silver salt (a) to form a light-sensitive silver halide, the light-sensitive layer further containing (3) at least one specific phthalazinone compound. The development of the above light-sensitive material is carried out simply by heating the material at a temperature of about 90.degree. to 180.degree. C. for 1 to 60 seconds after imagewise exposure. An image of black tone can be obtained without contaminating the developing machine.
