  • Publication number: 20080225135
Abstract: characteristic are improved. An imaging device having a hybrid RGBYC color filter using a primary color system RGB filter and a complementary color system YC filter is composed. Four G filters that directly relate to resolution and that is close to a luminance signal that human eyes sense are arrayed in a checker shape so that the number of the G filters is four times larger than the number of filters of each of the other colors. An array shown in FIG. 10A is composed of low resolution rows (G, R, G, and B) and high resolution rows (C, G, Y, and G) that are alternately arrayed in each line. When signals are read if exposure times are varied for individual lines, the signals that are read can easily have a wide dynamic range. An array shown in FIG. 10B has two Gs, a low sensitivity color, and a high sensitivity color in each line and each row. Thus, the luminance difference is small in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. Thus, the reading method in the array shown in FIG.

  • Publication number: 20080180834
Abstract: The present invention is a servo signal recording method for recording a servo signal on a magnetic tape having a data band and a servo band, wherein erasure is performed based on a pulse having a duty ratio varied so that a driving time of the AC erasing head with respect to one polarity is longer than a driving time thereof with respect to the other polarity, and then, the servo band is magnetized so as to have a magnetization direction opposite to magnetization direction caused by the erasure to record a servo signal in the servo band. According to this configuration, the influence of an information recording signal recorded on the surface of a magnetic recording medium on a reproduction output is reduced, whereby the reproduction output of a servo signal can be enhanced easily.

  • Patent number: 7391334
Abstract: A connection checking system of the present invention is arranged so as to apply a power supply voltage which is dropped by the resistance to a terminal when the control substrate and the unit are connected. Then, the control section determines that the unit is connected to the control substrate when the dropped voltage is applied to the terminal. On the other hand, when a dropped voltage is not applied to the terminal, the control section determines that the unit is not connected to the control substrate. The connection checking system of the present invention can be realized by using a conventional power supply cable, a signal cable and a terminal, and thus the connection checking system of the present invention can be manufactured at low costs.

  • Publication number: 20080144147
Abstract: In a reproducing apparatus adapted to reproduce data recorded on a holographic recording medium, a reference light generator generates reference light for illuminating the holographic recording medium, and a coherent light generator generates coherent light having an intensity greater than the absolute value of a minimum amplitude of a reproduced image and having a phase equal to the phase of the reproduced image. An image signal acquisition unit senses the reproduced image produced by illuminating the holographic recording medium with the reference light and the coherent light, and acquires an image signal based on the reproduced image. A square root calculation unit calculates the square root of each of values constituting the image signal. A removal unit removes the component of the coherent light from the calculated square root, whereby the data recorded on the holographic recording medium is correctly reproduced.

  • Patent number: 7369142
Abstract: A receiver measures strength of magnetic field generated by a transmitter and supplies it to a computer. The computer detects a viewpoint of a viewer based on the strength. The computer sets each pixel-displaying element arranged on the display portion of image display as a subject pixel-displaying element in turn. The computer obtains set pixel data from multiple items of pixel data constituting image data of one screen as pixel data corresponding to the subject pixel-displaying element. The image data has been obtained by a camera arranged for a position on an imaged plane corresponding to the split area in the display portion including the subject pixel-displaying element and stored in data storage. The set pixel data corresponds to a beam of light irradiated from the object along a straight line connecting the viewpoint and the subject pixel-displaying element. The computer supplies the set pixel data to a display.
