  • Patent number: 7607530
Abstract: A transfer conveyor which prevents collisions between works to be conveyed when the works to be conveyed or stored are carried on a conveyer track by a work support having a length shorter than the length of works to be conveyed, which permits reverse traveling during maintenance operations and the like. The collision preventing mechanism includes a sensing element which is biased into a contact position where it engages a leading work support on the conveyor track and is deflected, a sensing lever 132, which mounts the sensing element and pivots in accordance with the contacting/deflecting operation of the sensing element, and a stopper lever downstream from the sensing element, which is connected to the sensing element to be displaced into the path of travel of the next trailing work support when the sensing element is in the contacting position, The stopper lever limits the travel of the trailing work support to a predetermined storage conveying interval.

  • Publication number: 20090104007
Abstract: An automated guided vehicle for loading and unloading a rotary press with various types and widths of rolls of newsprint or other paper irrespective of their diameters. The vehicle has a traveling carriage for automatically transporting a newsprint between a storage area and the setting area in a rotary press machine. It includes a hoisting/lower unit which hoists and lowers the newsprint in the vertical direction into and away from registering with the paper holding arms of the rotary press machine. The hoisting/lowering unit includes two hoisting/lowering frames parallel to a traveling road surface, and the central axis between the fixed and movable paper holding arms of the rotary press paper. The frames are kept spaced apart by an arc-shaped connecting member.

  • Publication number: 20090016904
Abstract: A first tank, a main body of a compressor, an electric motor, and a second tank are combined to form a single assembly. A booster type air compressor as the single assembly including the first tank may be easily carried. The first tank at an inlet side is integrally combined to prevent a pulsation in the supplied compressed air for eliminating the drain contained in the compressed air. The air compressor, thus, is structured to discharge high compressed air from a high-pressure outlet joint formed on the second tank.

  • Patent number: 7378610
Abstract: A mail sorting and distributing transfer system, which smoothly conveys mail on a mail sorting line having a compound curve whose line is not in a plane, but is three-dimensional, whereby the mail can be reliably transferred to a conveyor basket and conveying power savings are achieved. The system 100 receives mail in a transfer basket 120 hung at an outer circumferential edge of a mail sorting and distributing turn table 110 and transfers the mail through a transfer port 122 to a conveyor basket 130, which circulates on a mail sorting line O. The conveyor basket 130 includes an inner circumferential side carriage 131 and an outer circumferential side carriage 132, which respectively travel on an inner circumferential side rail 142 and an outer circumferential side rail 143 of the mail sorting line O while hanging a basket body 133 by both sides in a carried state.

  • Patent number: 6415721
Abstract: A storage conveyor for a hybrid carrying truck is disclosed wherein construction of a carrying line at a site can be achieved simply and at a low cost without precise construction and smooth carrying and easy transfer between adjacent carrying apparatus of different types from each other can be achieved. The storage conveyor for a hybrid carrying truck carries a hybrid carrying truck which includes a pair of left and right skid members and two pairs of traveling wheels disposed at front and rear positions on the left and right sides thereof, and includes a plurality of conveyor units connected to each other in a carrying direction.
